Child Sex Traffickers At Planned Parenthood (Video)

When the left gets its claws into any organization, institution, etc., it manages to transform it into a vehicle for its unspeakable evil. Planned Parenthood, at one time, may have had lofty goals, but those days are long gone. The same can be said of the civil rights movement (originally a Republican initiative), the Department of Education, the Department of Justice, IMMIGRATION et al.

Even on issues where there may be bipartisan support, i.e. on choice, the left so perverts the question and takes it to such a repulsive and inhuman end — late-term murder, infanticide, for example — that those who may share common cause are repelled and will refuse to stand for such savagery.

NEW VIDEO: PLANNED PARENTHOOD WAS CAUGHT COVERING UP CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING, DID NOTHING ABOUT IT

January 17, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – Planned Parenthood lied to the media after employees were caught on camera in an undercover string operation attempting to aid and abet sex traffickers prostituting 14- and 15-year-old girls, according to a new Live Action investigation.

A former Planned Parenthood manager told Live Action that while the abortion giant claimed in 2011 that it was retraining thousands of staff to identify child sex traffickers, it was really just fortifying itself against future undercover investigations.

“When we were called into this meeting, I went in really believing that Planned Parenthood could redeem themselves,” former Sherman, Texas, Planned Parenthood manager Ramona Treviño says in the video. “I walk into the room…and there’s a projector screen pulled down and they began to play all of the previous undercover videos that had been put out.”

Treviño said she was “perplexed” as to what her employer was doing and wondered what she could do as a manager to help her employees enforce policies and procedures protecting women who were victims of sex trafficking.

Treviño says the presenter told her, “We are not here to talk about that, Ramona. We are here to teach you how to identify if you’re being videotaped, or recorded, or entrapped in any way.”

“At that moment, my heart just sunk,” said Treviño.

Live Action’s 2011 sting videos exposed eight Planned Parenthood staffers at seven different facilities aiding and abetting sex traffickers.

In response to the videos, Planned Parenthood said that it would retrain thousands of staff members across the country to properly report suspected sexual abuse of minors to authorities. The abortion company also claimed that it had “been in contact with federal and local authorities” to identify Live Action’s suspected sex traffickers who had visited its facilities.

Live Action used public records requests to check the abortion chain’s claim that it had reported the suspected sex traffickers to authorities. Out of five states and Washington, D.C., only one state – Arizona – had records showing Planned Parenthood reported anything to authorities.

A letter that Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards sent to then-Attorney General Eric Holder about the sex trafficking contained several problems, according to Live Action.

“First, the letter failed to correctly identify all the states visited by the investigators posing as sex traffickers,” Live Action’s new video explains. Planned Parenthood didn’t identify New York as one of the states where it was visited by Live Action’s “sex traffickers.”

“Second, the letter claimed that Planned Parenthood staff members ‘made it clear’ to the sex trafficker that they would comply with state laws and report suspected conduct that endangered minors,” the video explains. This claim is demonstrably false, Live Action points out, because their video footage shows that staff never told the investigators anything like that.

“When confronted with child sex traffickers, Planned Parenthood cared more about protecting its image than protecting children,” said Lila Rose, president and founder of Live Action. “It appears that many media outlets simply took Planned Parenthood’s word that it reported the suspected child sex traffickers to the proper local authorities.”

“If Planned Parenthood can provide proof that it actually tried to protect children it thought were being forced into prostitution by reporting the suspected crimes to local law enforcement, we’d love to see the evidence,” said Rose.

“I couldn’t see how Planned Parenthood could ever redeem themselves after” responding to the sex trafficking scandal by teaching its employees to watch out for investigators and whistleblowers, said Treviño. That experience left her “so disgusted.”

Nearly 30% of sex trafficking victims come into contact with Planned Parenthood, according to research from Dr. Laura Lederer, former senior advisor for trafficking in persons for the U.S. Department of State.

“Survivors [of human trafficking] also had significant contact with clinical treatment facilities, most commonly Planned Parenthood clinics, which more than a quarter of survivors (29.6%) visited. … Since pimps and traffickers generally exercise nearly complete control of their victims, these points of contact with healthcare represent rare opportunities for victim identification and intervention,” Lederer wrote.
