Congressman Introduced “Stable Genius Act” To Force President Into “Standardized Tests”

There can be no doubt that Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House has driven the media to talking, especially about the mental state of President Donald Trump.  While I’m not going to say whether I think he is stable or not, one thing is clear, Trump has been clever enough to pull the rug out from under the media and his political opponents again and again.

However, one such opponent of Trump, Representative Brendan Boyle (D-PA) introduced a bill a week after Trump responded to the claims about his mental state in Wolff’s book.

First, I’ll remind you of what the President said via his favorite platform, Twitter.

“Now that Russian collusion, after one year of intense study, has proven to be a total hoax on the American public, the Democrats and their lapdogs, the Fake News Mainstream Media, are taking out the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence…..” he tweeted.

“….Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star….. ….to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!” Trump added.

It’s to that last phrase that the bill is clearly directed.

Boyle titled his legislation “Standardizing Testing and Accountability Before Large Elections Giving Electors Necessary Information for Unobstructed Selection Act” or “The Stable Genius Act” for short.

Rep. Boyle claims the bill is designed “to ensure that Presidential candidates are fit to lead.”

The bill would “amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require the principal campaign committee of a candidate in a general election for the office of President to file a certification that the candidate has undergone a medical examination conducted by a medical office under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Navy.”

“The President believes he is a ‘stable genius.’ I do not,” said Congressman Boyle. “President Trump’s reckless, erratic behavior has exposed a critical flaw in our existing election process. Before voting for the highest office in the land, Americans have a right to know whether an individual has the physical and mental fitness to serve as President of the United States. While it is necessary to take the current President’s concerning behavior seriously and I support legislation to address these ongoing concerns, I believe we must also be proactive and do all we can to ensure a situation like this does not arise again.”

“My legislation provides a much needed safeguard to ensure that future presidential candidates meet the basic standards of a proper, uniform medical examination, and that this information is available to the American public before voting for the Office of the Presidency,” Boyle added.  “While President Trump apparently considers himself a ‘stable genius,’ the American people deserve a thorough, standardized procedure to allow a medical professional to determine this.”

Boyle has been serving since 2015 and at no time did I once see this kind of legislation proposed for a man that was clearly mentally ill and advanced the behavior (sodomy) of mentally ill people, even protecting it.  Rep. Boyle seemed to not raise a whisper over the many scandals that demonstrated a criminal mindset housed in the mind of Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah.  It appears, Rep. Boyle believes that Obama is the epitome of a “Stable Genius.”

In the usual hypocritical fashion of a politician, he doesn’t direct any of that effort at validating his own fitness for office as a representative of the people.  The least would be a standardized test to have every Congressman be able to recite from memory the limits the Constitution imposes upon them as congressmen and the first Ten Amendments.  If they can’t even do that, they are immediately disqualified from holding that office.

The Twenty-fifth Amendment of the Constitution already provides for dealing with mentally ill presidents.  The problem that we are seeing is that quite often, mentally ill representatives are the ones seeking to impose it on their political opponents.  Just look at Maxine Waters!

Consider this bill dead on arrival, but Boyle’s Democrat buddies will pat him on the back for it.

As a final note, I’ll mention that Trump just had his first medical exam since being in office, and the 71-year-old president seems to be more than fit for office, at least according to an actual doctor and not a politician.

Fox News reports:

The 71-year-old president went to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., on Friday to undergo his first physical exam in office. Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician, performed the assessment.

“The president’s physical exam today at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went exceptionally well,” Jackson said following the examination.

“The president is in excellent health and I look forward to briefing some of the details on Tuesday,” he continued.

Looks like Rep. Boyle just got punked big time!
