Our Own Dept. of Homeland Security Is Too Politically-Correct to Identify Our Enemies
For many, the biggest issue that indicates our losing of the war on terror is the fact that our officials and especially our President cannot call the enemy by their name. There is a blatant refusal to use the term “Muslim Extremists” or “Islamic terrorists.”
This failure to truly identify our enemy, in some people’s minds, has caused us to fail to stop them effectively from growing in strength and support in Western countries. If we are politically correct in our discussing of these issues, then the youth are more vulnerable to radicalization.
And it may be getting worse rather than better.

Fox reports:
A new Department of Homeland Security report urges rejecting the use of Islamic terms such as “jihad” and “sharia” in programs aimed at countering terrorist radicalization among American youth.
This is supposedly done with the purpose of cutting off attempts to radicalize the millennials. It seems that this generation of young people has struggled with resisting the temptation to believe the radical propaganda.
Fox continues:
The Homeland Security Advisory Council report recommends that the department focus on American millennials by allocating up to $100 million in new funding. It also urges greater private sector cooperation, including with Muslim communities, to counter what is described as a “new generation of threats to the Homeland related to the threat of violent extremism.”
The funds would be used for hiring experts and new social media programs and technology to influence young people not to join terror groups.
The problem is that we are afraid that if we identify the reason the Islamist does what he does, we will push the youth away from the religion as a whole. But, we must remember that there is no better salve for falsehood than truth.
It is when we sacrifice the truth to save ourselves that we will be doomed as a people.
