The Democratic National Committee has produced a new ad attacking Republican presidential candidates for using the words “radical Islam” to describe the war we’re in.

How desperate the left has become in its maniacal and dangerous quest to divorce Islam from Islamic terror and the Islamic State — so wildly desperate that Democrats have now gotten behind the man they once hated with passion and venom, George W. Bush. Yes, George Bush is now their poster boy.

George Bush — how the Democrats destroyed him, attacked him, marginalized him, ruined him. Now they are resurrecting him. The great visionary George Bush! The enlightened George Bush! All because Bush (in his worst moment) said that Islam is a religion of peace.

George Bush was wrong to promote the Islam-is-peace fairy tale. The one time he used the term “Islamofascism,” he was drawn and quartered by the media. He never did that again. We need a President who, when attacked for saying something true, will repeat it 1000 times.

Actually, “Islam” does not mean peace. It means submission. And in the Islamic world, there can only be peace under a Pax Islamica — a world living under Islam. That was the goal1,400 years ago, and that is the goal today.

Bush was unwilling to face the whole of the problem. 9/11 was a shock to the system for most of us. We had little understanding of the enemy we were facing, or of the jihad doctrine. Bush didn’t have 15 years of monthly, weekly, sometimes daily Islamic attacks to consider. He wrongly assumed that the “moderate” Muslim world would beat back the devout Muslim world.

What George W. Bush didn’t realize was that the moderate Muslims don’t have a theological leg to stand on. ISIS, al Qaeda, al Shabaab, and all the rest of them follow pure Islam, to the letter. It is authentic Islam. That’s the attraction for so many newly devout and newly converted Muslims. When a jihadi blows himself up or slaughters people in Paris (or London, New York, Mumbai, Israel, etc.) people say, “I don’t understand what happened to him. He was such a nice boy. A good neighbor.” What happened is that the Muslim became religious – that’s what invariably motivates them to blow themselves up and kill people.

Radical Islam is a redundant term, but that is a discussion for another day. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, eschewed “radical Islam” and said that we’re fighting “radical jihadism.” That’s even more redundant then “radical Islam.” There is little in the Quran that speaks to a “spiritual jihad.” Holy war to conquer and impose your ideology on innocent people is inherently radical.

This ad appeared against the backdrop of escalating jihad violence. Last week, devout Muslims murdered well over 100 people in a series of coordinated jihad attacks in Paris. Then on Thursday, a Muslim killed an American teenager in Israel. The killer was incited to murder by his imam and his holy book. Friday, Islamic jihadists murdered an American citizen in Mali, as a devout Muslims group attacked a luxury hotel and held 170 hostages while releasing all the Muslims. They gave the victims the infamous Islamic test, freeing those who could recite portions of the Qur’an. It has been noted that this has happened many times before: “We have seen this before on several occasions in Kenya. In September 2013 at Nairobi’s Westgate Mall, Muslims murdered people who couldn’t answer questions about Islam. In June 2014, Muslims murdered people who could not pass an Islam quiz. In November 2014, Muslims murdered 28 non-Muslims who couldn’t recite Qur’an verses. In April 2015, Muslims screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ stormed Garissa University College, and only shot those who couldn’t recite Qur’an.” In November 2008, Muslims were freed in the monstrous Mumbai terror attacks. Just as hundreds of Muslims were freed in 2013 at the BP gas complex attack in Algeria.

In the last letters of the 9/11 Muslim terrorists, they cited and cried for Allah 90 times — I know, I counted. Tell me again how it’s not Islamic.

What’s the Democrats’ response to all this? To create a television ad that exonerates the murderers. The ad, which is “Inciting fear isn’t presidential,” the ad claims that using the term “radical Islam” offends Muslims.

Who is really inciting fear? The GOP or the jihadis? The term “radical Islam” offends Muslims? Why is truth offensive to Muslims? Why isn’t Quran 3:151 (“Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers”) offensive to Muslims? Why isn’t honor killing,broadly tolerated and excused in many Islamic countries, offensive to Muslims? Why isn’t Islamic Jew-hatred offensive to Muslims? Why aren’t the hundreds of millions of victims of jihadi wars land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements in the cause of Allah offensive to Muslims?

The Islamic character of the jihad war against us is as obvious as the color of the sky. This is objective reality. As Aristotle noted, things that have the same essence are the same thing, while things that have different essences are different things. Ayn Rand said this of Aristotle: “Centuries ago, the man who was—no matter what his errors—the greatest of your philosophers, has stated the formula defining the concept of existence and the rule of all knowledge: A is A.” A is still A. Jihad is jihad. Millions of Muslims are waging holy war in the course of Islam. That’s Islam. That is the law of identity.

Even the King of Jordan said, “This is a war, as I said, repeatedly within Islam.” Egyptian President Sisi said, “We have reached the point that Muslims have antagonized the entire world. Is it conceivable that 1.6 billion [Muslims] want to kill the rest of the world’s population of 7 billion, so that Muslims prosper? This is not possible.” Sisi called for a “religious revolution.”

If this incredible fiction from the DNC actually flies, then America is done for. Because this doesn’t take so much as a grade school education to see. And if people cannot think, they cannot act rationally.

This ad is ugly, dirty pool. But that’s how they play. It’s how the left has always played. They are counting on their decades-long march into academia, media and culture, during which they have thoroughly indoctrinated our youth and rendered Americans unable to think, to clearly think.

The more right my colleagues and I are proven to be, the more shunned we are — that is the power and control that the left has over the national discourse. Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, others and myself should be consulted and quoted on matters of Islamic terror; instead, terror groups such as the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are. That’s like the press asking the German American Bund for comment in news stories on Nazi Germany.

Under Islamic law, there are three choices if you are not a Muslim: convert to Islam; live in subservience under Muslim hegemony, paying an exorbitant poll tax and existing at the sufferance of your Muslim masters while being denied basic rights; or die. The left has made the third choice. They have surrendered; and while they submit to Islamic supremacists, they behave like vicious bullies toward anyone who won’t likewise submit. Craven quislings cowed by savages brutalize those who won’t bow before them — they have adopted the brutal ethos of the conquerors.

American citizens are being murdered in cold blood, and the left is furiously mopping up the blood, in the hope that America won’t see it.
