Former White House Communications Director: “Elements” in DC Trying to “Eject” Trump
On Sunday, former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci told ABC’s “This Week” that there are “elements” in Washington, DC who are trying to “eject” President Donald Trump.
Before he could even get started in his new job, Scaramucci was fired following a profanity-laced interview in the New Yorker.

Host George Stephanopoulos said he thought it appeared as though there was a sort of “hornet’s nest” within the Trump administration.
“The president is not a representative of the political establishment class, and so for whatever reason, people have made a decision that they want to eject him,” Scaramucci said.
“It’s almost like he’s opened up the door now for America’s CEOs and America’s billionaires to enter the Washington political system,” he added. “The members of that political class do not like that.”
Scaramucci had vowed to fire all White House leakers, and had targeted former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.
Stephanopoulos asked him if Trump was fighting “an enemy within the White House.”
“I think that there are elements inside of Washington, also inclusive in the White House, that are not necessarily abetting the president’s interests or his agenda,” Scaramucci said. “I absolutely believe that, yes…”
Indeed, since February, there have been elements seeking to sabotage the Trump administration from within, beginning with former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn.
President Donald Trump was reported to have billionaire Stephen A. Feinberg conduct a full White House review of the intelligence community, following leaks that led to Michael Flynn’s resignation.
While Trump has been a master at playing the media, it seems at every turn he has problems with either the people he puts in particular positions or people leaking information that have remained on board from the Obama administration.
One would think it will be easier to replace with people you trusted and had your vision that continue to use the old dinosaurs that have been part of the problem all along.
