Kremlin Confirms Team Clinton Met With Russian Ambassador

With all the talk from the mainstream media about supposed improprieties of President Donald Trump and members of his administration talking with Russia, the real Russian puppet is now being outed for her campaign members meeting with the Russian Ambassador.  Yes, that’s right, Hillary Clinton’s advisers met with the Russian ambassador, according to a spokesman from the Kremlin.

“Well, if you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that he had lots of meetings of that kind,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told CNN “GPS” host Fareed Zakaria. “There are lots of specialists in politology, people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”

Peskov said the meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak had nothing to do with elections.  Rather, he claims that Russia met with both Team Clinton and Team Trump to talk about “bilateral relations.”

“But there were no meetings about elections — electoral process … So if you look at it with intention to demonize Russia, you would probably say that, yes, he was trying to interfere in Hillary’s activities. But it would be nonsense, because this is not true,” Peskov said.

Peskov also said Putin never voiced support for then-presidential candidate Trump.

“You would probably recall that President Putin, during election campaign, had never answered directly a question about his candidate of his support,” Peskov said, indicating that he did not voice any support for then-candidate Trump.  “He kept saying that we will respect a choice of American people.”

However, he did say that Putin would prefer to be dealing with Trump as president rather than Clinton.

“If you ask him whether he had mentioned the then-candidate Donald Trump, I will answer, yes, he had,” said Peskov.

“The candidate Hillary Clinton was quite negative about our country in her attitude and in her program, declaring Russia being nearly the main evil in the world and the main threat for the United States,” Peskov added.

“And to the contrary, the other candidate, Donald Trump, was saying that, ‘Yes, we disagree with the Russians … in lots of issues, but we have to talk to them in order to try to find some understanding.’ Whom would you like better? The one who says that Russia is evil or the one who says that, ‘Yes, we disagree, but let’s talk to understand and to try to find some points of agreement?’” he asked.

Several people met with Kislyak, including Michael Flynn, who resigned as a result of the media losing its mind over him meeting the Russian ambassador.  Attorney General Jeff Sessions, as well as Jared Kushner, senior aide to Trump, also met with Kislyak.  Carter Page, who served as director of national security for the Trump campaign before leaving the campaign and criticizing US sanctions against Russia, also met with Kislyak.

Trump national security adviser J. D. Gordon also met Kislyak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.  “I’d consider it an informal conversation just like my interactions with dozens of other ambassadors and senior diplomats in Cleveland,” Gordon told USA Today.

President Trump’s Middle East adviser Walid Phares blasted the hysteria by the media surrounding the meetings of Trump’s team with the Russian ambassador in a blog post, calling their “reporting” a “James Bondian brand of journalism.”  Phares believes all the talk about Russia is to deflect from the deal with Iran that the Obama administration made.

“At this point the ‘piranha journalists’ are left with no food to consume,” Phares wrote.  “Their problem is that they have no facts. And if they do find out what was on the lunch menu at the Republican National Convention diplomatic event and compare the dishes with the Democratic event’s menu, it would be a much better story than their current overwrought hallucinations. Hence, you can understand why CNN is parading my picture along with other Trump advisors under the title of ‘contacts with Russia.’ Obviously they know -and the public does too- that it is not about Russia, in my case, it is about Iran. The Iran regime lobby is trying to stir the focus away from the Iran deal, to a ‘Russia file’.”

“They can dodge the bigger shadow looming over the opposition, as long as they want, the file on the Iran Deal is getting heavier and heavier,” he concluded.  “And no Russian tale can help dodge what is coming.”

That very well may be the case.  However, if one is looking to tie who is joined at the hip with Russia, they only need to take a look at the Clinton Foundation and the sale of Uranium Ore to the Russians, or how she worked to set up multi-billion dollar deals to transfer US technology to help Putin build Skolkovo, Russia’s high-tech Silicon Valley, despite “an extraordinary warning” issued by the FBI about Russian motives for wanting the technology.   I wonder why the media won’t talk about that!
