The Podesta brothers – John and Anthony – have long been central players in the Democrat Party’s inner-workings. (John is Hillary Clinton’s right-hand man.)

Both men have been vital to the Democrats fundraising for several decades and both men have themselves become very wealthy using their political connections to their own benefit.

Now, it seems that the ongoing furor over what role Russia may or may not have played in the 2016 election, is threatening to bring their lives crashing down.

This is likely not going to be the end for the Podesta brothers, because as we’ve seen in the past, Democrat operatives have an almost supernatural ability to stay out of prison… but it could hurt their bottom line.

One example of this is currently playing out, as Anthony Podesta suddenly resigned his position with the Podesta Group this past week.

Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta is stepping down from his lobbying firm Monday after becoming a subject of investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Podesta announced his decision to leave The Podesta Group during a firm-wide meeting Monday morning and is alerting clients of his impending departure, Politico reported…

Podesta and The Podesta Group’s involvement in Ukrainian politics is also complicating the situation. Mueller expanded the investigation to focus on Podesta and his Democratic-leaning lobbying firm with connections to Hillary Clinton, sources told NBC in an Oct. 24 report.

Sadly, the media continues to be uninterested in the role that the Democrat Party, and Hillary Clinton’s campaign in particular, may have played in the Russia collusion controversy.

President Donald Trump criticized the lack of coverage surrounding Anthony Podesta’s departure from his powerful lobbying firm, suggesting that the media unfairly prioritized the indictment of former Trump campaign officials instead in a pair of Tuesday tweets.

The question is a valid one.

While President Trump may be trying to shift the focus from his administration to the possibility of Democrat foul play, that doesn’t make his commentary incorrect. His motives may be suspect, but his observation is accurate.

Why has the media spent so much time focusing on the possibility of collusion between the Trump team and Russia, when there has been no evidence of such an occurrence, but when clear evidence of collusion is found between Hillary Clinton’s campaign and Russia… the media simply ignores the story?

It’s nonsensical, unless conservatives have been right all along and the media is unconcerned with the truth and only concerned with pushing a leftwing narrative.
