NY Governor: When I Said America Wasn’t Great, I Meant It Was Great
It’s always sad when a lefty peers out of his fragile bubble and realizes that even most of his actual base doesn’t actually hate America.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday ratcheted up his verbal feud with President Donald Trump saying “we’re not going to make America great again, it was never that great.”
The comment, seemingly meant as a dig at the president’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, drew laughter and gasps from the crowd on Wednesday and swift backlash on social media.
But, according to Cuomo, what he actually meant to say is that of course, it’s great…
“I want to be very clear: Of course America is great and of course America has always been great,” Cuomo, a Democrat, told reporters on a conference call. “My family is evidence of American greatness.”
But if the corrupt Cuomo clan is Andy’s proof of American greatness, you can see why he thought America was never that great. America is great. The Cuomos are a sewer of nepotism, greed and grasping incompetence.
At least Andy is trying to make New York great again with the help of some voodoo child rapists.
Dozens of convicted sexual predators deemed too dangerous to be returned to the community after their release from prison are among the thousands who received conditional pardons from Gov. Cuomo, giving them the right to vote, the Daily News has learned.
One of the predators is Hector Aviles, 61, who was known as the “voodoo rapist.” Aviles was convicted of second-degree rape in Westchester County in 2008 after telling three of his victims — the oldest of whom was 16 — that if they participated in a sexual “ritual” with him, he could help them with their problems. If they didn’t, he said, bad things would happen to them and their families.
Speaking of bad things, Andy Cuomo wants to run for president. And he’s already got his slogan. Make Voodoo Great Again.
