Seattle Mayor Ed Murray Resigns After Fifth Child Sex Abuse Allegation

Seattle is a hotbed of Socialism and liberalism and is most demonstrated in the city’s choice of a mayor, who has now resigned after a fifth child sex abuse allegation was leveled against him.

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray resigned on Tuesday following allegations that he sexually abused a younger cousin several decades ago while in New York.

This is the fifth child abuse allegation that has been made against Murray.

The Seattle Times reports on the latest allegation that came from Murray’s cousin just hours before his resignation.

A younger cousin of Seattle Mayor Ed Murray on Tuesday became the fifth man to publicly accuse the mayor of sexual abuse, saying Murray repeatedly molested him as a teenager in the 1970s.

Joseph Dyer, 54, a dialysis technician and Air Force veteran, says he was 13 when Murray forced him into sex for about a year while the two shared a bedroom in Dyer’s mother’s home in the Long Island town of Medford, New York.

“There would be times when I would fake sleeping because I didn’t want him touching me,” Dyer, a married father who now lives in another state, recalled during an interview with The Seattle Times.

“And that’s when he would molest me. And my mother would be right there in the house, she’d be in the living room … watching TV, at that time it was probably “M*A*S*H.” And my sisters would be in their rooms, sleeping. And I would be in my room, and he would be in there, molesting me.”

Murray admits that he did live with the family, but denies molesting Dyer.

“While the allegations against me are not true, it is important that my personal issues do not affect the ability of our City government to conduct the public’s business,” Murray said in a statement.

Murray claims the families have been at odds with each other for years.

Yet, Dyer says the molestation continued until a young boy in a Catholic group made accusations of sexual abuse by Murray.

In April, Murray was sued by a man who accused him of sexually abusing him at the age of 15.

He was also accused by two other men, Jeff Simpson and Lloyd Anderson, of abusing them while they were teens and Murray was in his 20s.  Those allegations were made decades ago, but no charges were filed, even though Simpson spoke to a social worker and detective about the abuse.

Anderson identified very private distinctive features about Murray in his accusation.

There is no way I would resign a position like that in the face of false accusations without taking someone to court if I were innocent in the matter, would you?

But look, Murray has a track record of bad behavior.

In February, he gave a speech from a Seattle mosque in which he called for new taxes on the homeless and threatened to sue President Donald Trump over the DACA issue.

in July, he proposed granting sharia-compliant loans for Muslims.

If that wasn’t enough, in 2013, following the Sandy Hook shooting, Murray pushed for passage of a law that would have allowed police in the state to “conduct an inspection” of the homes and/or private property of any legal semi-automatic gun owners once a year.  The bill banned the sale of semi-automatic weapons that use detachable ammunition magazines.  Magazines that contain more than 10 rounds were illegal.

A new tax was imposed on firearms and ammunition as well and later upheld by a judge.

He would later admit he didn’t even know what the bill he sponsored had in it.

So, he has no regard for either the rights protected under the Second or Fourth Amendments at all, not to mention immigration law nor the care for the money he and the city chokes out of its citizens.

This man is a criminal, if not by what he is assused of, then he is a criminal against the people he was supposed to serve in Seattle by what he did while in office.

I’m glad he’s gone, now will someone please bring him to justice?
