Trump’s Wall & Deportations of Illegals – The Most Sensible Executive Action in Half a Century

Donald J Trump is perhaps the only person elected as President that actually and immediately began fulfilling his campaign promises, almost the moment he was sworn in. In his first week as President, one of the major issues he addressed was signing an Executive Order on illegal immigration which essentially says the wall between Mexico and the United States will be built, millions of illegal aliens in the US will face deportation, and all sanctuary cities and states will have all Federal funding withheld and face possible fines.

The illegal alien issue has been a major problem in the US for over a half a century, the current official estimate of the number of people living in the US illegally is at around 11 million.  However, the number varies greatly, up to 20 million. The truth is, the Federal government has no idea what the exact number is, primarily because of the open border policy that we have had since the George H. W. Bush Administration and the fact that they are illegal and cannot be accurately counted.
Anyone who is observant and has done a little travel, especially to states like California and Texas knows the actual number of people living in this country illegally is closer to an astounding 50 million. The state of California alone is occupied by the reported 11 million of the official count alone and this is certainly verifiable to anyone traveling around in just the southern half of the state. This does not include the masses in the state’s San Joaquin Valley that stretches from Bakersfield in the south, all the way to the city of Redding in the extreme northern section of the state.
Texas is another state which is occupied by millions of illegal aliens as can be observed in most areas and mainly in larger cities such as San Antonio, Houston, and the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex area, as well as the southwest section of the state bordering Mexico known as the Big Bend area.
The estimate of 50 million illegals living in the US is a realistic figure, taking into consideration those scattered around the rest of the country and the bulk living in the state of New York.
With this vast number of illegals here, it is easy to understand why millions of American citizens who rely on unskilled and semi-skilled labor jobs, are out of work. From the food service industry, health care, maintenance, to construction jobs are examples of work that simply is not available to most US citizens and are exclusively taken up by individuals who do not belong here.
Because of the millions of illegals occupying many food service jobs, it has become virtually impossible for most young people to find their first job during summer vacation. The necessary experience of being responsible on a job, character building, the experience of managing personal finances is a thing of the past for our youth, under the current conditions in this country.
Aside from putting millions of Americans out of work, millions of illegal aliens are drastically driving up health care costs and taxes on US citizens by many receiving welfare money, food stamps, free housing, free medical care, and the cost of public education.
The fact that many illegals are taking jobs from millions of Americans also accounts for a staggering number of US citizens who are now themselves on welfare, receiving food stamps, and are partly accounting for massive tax hikes and a runaway deficit.
It would almost be a different story if most illegal aliens from south of the border really loved the US and the people here, but in reality most of them deplore the way the country is and despise its citizens.
There are literally so many illegal aliens in the US today that hundreds of thousands of them are still being housed at various military bases across the country. Not only are they being housed, but fed and all their needs taken care of, the cost of this in itself is into the billions.
Aside from the negative impacts of millions of illegal aliens living here, there is the criminal aspect of an open border with Mexico. Today, the US faces a crisis in crime from petty theft to Capital crimes and most of the criminal activity occurring in the US is attributed to the millions of illegal aliens. All you have to do is watch your local news to realize that most crimes are committed by people here illegally. The FBI statistics agree that most of the crimes in the US are now committed by illegals.
According to the FBI: Criminal gangs – in some regions comprised significantly of illegal aliens – are wreaking havoc in the U.S., with 65 jurisdictions nationwide reporting gang-related offenses committed with firearms account for at least 95 percent of crime in those areas.
The FBI further documented gangs in Southwestern border regions consisting of up to 80 percent illegal aliens were committing a multitude of crimes in America, “including drug-related crimes, weapons trafficking, alien smuggling, human trafficking, prostitution, extortion, robbery, auto theft, assault, homicide, racketeering, and money laundering.”
The information was contained in the FBI’s 79-page National Gang Report published in 2013, the most recently released extensive agency report, providing an overview of gang activities and trends in the United States.
From Hispanic gangs mainly comprised of illegals, the Mexican Mafia living here making sure the drugs and weapons flow freely into the US, prisons overflowing with non citizens from south of the border, and a criminal element in many public schools is unacceptable and must be stopped. This is why President Trump has decided to publish a weekly crime report on all crimes committed by illegal aliens.
Allowing illegal aliens into the US is sheer blasphemy to the masses of immigrants who want to come to America and become citizens via going through the legal and lawful process of becoming citizens. Out current situation with illegal aliens in this country is a slap in the face to all such legitimate immigrants who do truly love this country.
Building the wall across the Mexican border and rounding up those who are here illegally, then sending them back to where they came from, is the best thing that could be done for the US. Illegal immigration is way out of hand and the time to put a stop to it is long overdue.
