“endangering lives abroad.”

USAID is a rabbit hole subsidizing everything from Islamic terrorists to leftist activist groups.

Freezing the outlay has sent them scurrying and demanding more money or everyone will die.

A liberal-leaning advocacy group filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration Monday seeking to halt the freeze on foreign aid the administration has imposed.

The group, Public Citizen, argues the freeze on funds appropriated by Congress is unlawful and is endangering lives abroad.

“When programs like the ones run by our clients are abruptly shuttered, the impacts are felt throughout the world — with the most vulnerable people bearing the deadliest impact,” Public Citizen attorney Lauren Bateman, the lead lawyer on the case, said in a statement.

Public Citizens’ two named clients are the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition and the Journalism Development Network.

JDN is better known as the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and is funded by George Soros, the Ford Foundation, and other members of the leftist activist funding network.

OCCRP had spent a good deal of time attacking Trump, but now claims that it’s apolitical.

OCCRP has recently become the target of a conspiracy theory suggesting that we worked with one of our donors, USAID, to undermine President Donald Trump during his first administration.

This is simply untrue, and it’s not how OCCRP operates.

Here are the facts: One of our stories was cited in a 2019 whistleblower complaint filed against President Donald Trump. The complaint then sparked his first impeachment. That story, like all stories we do, was reported without our donors’ knowledge or input. OCCRP had no contact with the whistleblower, and was unaware of the complaint until after it was reported by U.S. domestic media. No one has disputed the accuracy of any facts in OCCRP’s story, including the people we wrote about. Meanwhile, those promoting conspiracy theories about our reporting have offered no proof of their allegations.

OCCRP is apolitical. We are funded by many different donors, including members of the public, private institutions, and the development agencies of a number of democratic countries.

When you’re funded by Soros, Ford, the Knight Foundation, and the Rockefeller Brothers, you’re not ‘apolitical’. These folks don’t fund apolitical organizations.

And when Public Citizen rolls together an AIDS vaccine group with a leftist advocacy group and claims people will die unless they get money, AIDS is being used as a shield for political activism.

If OOCRP needs money that badly, it can ask George or Alex Soros for a raise.
