After Facebook Removes Pro-Hamas Content, Sen. Warren Suddenly Worried About Censorship

Censorship is a wonderful thing. As long as she gets to decide who gets censored.

For nigh on 7 years, Democrats vocally denounced Facebook for not censoring enough. CEO Mark Zuckerberg was dragged in to testify before Congress about why he wasn’t doing enough to fight “misinformation” with more censorship. An entire censorship apparatus was unleashed whose purpose was to create a government-to-platform censorship pipeline. Recent efforts by Florida and Texas to ban the government from telling Big Tech platforms whom to censor is the subject of an extended court battle.

But wait, suddenly the censorship lobby is worried about censorship.

“Instagram’s reported removal and suppression of Palestine-related content raises serious questions. I’ve got a bill to require more transparency from Big Tech platforms and protect against algorithmic discrimination,” Sen. Warren tweeted out alongside an article by pro-terror site: The Intercept.

Sen. Warren was one of the loudest pro-censorship voices until now. Here she is demanding more censorship about global warming on Facebook. During her campaign, she was whining that, “Facebook changed its policies to allow users to instantaneously share information to groups, a troubling way to quickly spread disinformation to millions of users.”

Here she is in 2019 screeching that free speech on Facebook had turned it into a “disinformation-for-profit machine” .

This past week alone, Warren’s campaign has spent several thousand dollars in Facebook ads accusing Zuckerberg of “illegal anticompetitive practices,” fumbling the “responsibility to protect our democracy” and giving “Donald Trump free rein to lie on his platform.”

In 2020, Warren urged that, “we also need to crack down on the spread of disinformation that severely undermines free expression and legitimate journalism.”

That same year, Warren had moved on to digital book burning at Amazon.

In a six-page letter to Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, Sen. Elizabeth Warren expressed concerns that the “search and ‘Best Seller’ algorithms” on the online retail giant’s website are spreading misinformation about vaccines and the treatment of COVID-19.

“During the week of August 22, 2021, my staff conducted sample searches on Amazon.com of pandemic-related terms such as ‘COVID-19,’ ‘COVID,’ ‘vaccine,’ ‘COVID 19 vaccine,’ and ‘pandemic.’ The top results consistently included highly-ranked and favorably-tagged books based on falsehoods about COVID-19 vaccines and cures.”

The same political hack who spent years demanding Big Tech censor everyone she disagreed with… is now threatening Facebook for censoring the terrorist supporters she agrees with.

I’ve said before that Sen. Warren is one of the most viciously cynical and dishonest people in the Senate. She’s fully embraced the leftist idea that there are no principles or rules: only victory at any cost.

Censorship is a wonderful thing. As long as she gets to decide who gets censored.
