Congressman Warmonger Claims Syrian President Assad Is “Butcher Of Baghdad” In Iraq
The episode in Syria is so clearly a royal screw up and something we should have never had our nose in in the first place that now those pushing for war in Syria have become so twisted in their lies that they can’t even get which country Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is president. This latest episode comes from Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) as he appeared in an interview on CNN with S.E Cupp and claimed that Assad was the “Butcher of Baghdad.”
During the interview, Kinsinger and Cupp blasted Hawaiian congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D), who also happens to be an Iraq veteran, because she met with Assad, and furthermore, refused to get behind President Donald Trump’s unconstitutional and without evidence missile attack on Syria last year.
At that time, she said she was skeptical that Assad was behind gassing his own people, as were many of us. I continue to think it outlandish that he is doing that from an administration that continues to fund the White Helmet jihadis with our money, looks to protect Al-Qaeda in the region, and provides not evidence that Assad is doing the gassing.

However, here is Kinzinger in all his glory pontificating on his ignorance.
Watch McCain-impersonator @AdamKinzinger call for US military force to protect Idlib's al-Qaeda rulers. He and @secupp then attack @TulsiGabbard for meeting with the President of *Syria* Bashar al-Assad – who Kinzinger calls the "Butcher of Baghdad" 😐 pic.twitter.com/VEowCjIMJO

Kinzinger said that it was possible for Gabbard to be “against intervention” but “to meet with the Butcher of Baghdad is a whole other thing.”
Even Cupp didn’t correct his comments, but went right along with the narrative being laid out. Should be par for the course for someone working at CNN, don’t you think?
She tore into Gabbard saying that she was merely “parroting Assad and Russian propaganda” because she pointed out that the US is taking the jihadis side against Assad.
Well, look, if that’s the case, S.E., why are you not calling out Fox News for “parroting Assad and Russian propaganda,” or is it that you are now working for the king of propaganda in the US media, and that is what is blinding you to reality?
What makes this blunder even more incredible is that Adam Kinsinger served in the US Air Force in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
This might be news to @AdamKinzinger but Baghdad is in Iraq, the country he personally helped bomb as an Air Force pilot. At a minimum, elected officials should have to be able to find a country on a map before they're allowed to call for bombing it. That'd save millions of lives pic.twitter.com/NAFIgJmPVp

Rep. Gabbard returned from a secret “fact finding” trip to Syria and declared, “There are no moderate rebels in Syria.”
“I don’t think Assad should be removed,” Gabbard said. “If Assad is removed and overthrown, ISIS, al Qaeda, Al Nustra, these Islamic extremist groups will walk straight in and take over all of Syria … they will be even stronger.”
“People said the very same thing about Saddam (Hussein), the very same thing about (Moammar) Gadhafi, the results of those two failed efforts of regime change and the following nation-building have been absolute, not only have they been failures, but they’ve actually worked to strengthen our enemy,” Gabbard added.
She’s right, just look at what took place in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Egypt.
We have known this for some time, which begs the question of who the missile strike last week benefits. Furthermore, we should question who a chemical attack benefits. It doesn’t benefit Assad, that’s for sure. We do know that the missile strike aided the stocks of the company that manufactures them, instantly adding $5 billion to the stock value!
The real thing that should stand to the American people and Rep. Kinzinger is that the jig was up the moment that Defense Secretary Mattis declared that there was “no evidence” that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people.
Syria is just one of several countries along the way of domination that was laid out a long time ago. America has no constitutional or moral authority to be there when she is murdering more than 3,000 of her own daily through abortion… all children.
