Joe Biden: Americans Have An “Obligation” To Pay For Illegal Aliens Healthcare
What Joe Biden is doing is the same thing that Democrats have done for years and that is taking the Bible’s commands of loving one another voluntarily and inputting it to government. The latest example of this is the 2020 presidential candidate’s statements that Americans have an “obligation” to care for and pay for the healthcare of illegal aliens.
Biden was asked by a reporter about whether he thought illegal aliens in the US, who are here in violation of immigration law, are entitled to welfare benefits like Medicare and Medicaid.
“I think that anyone who is in a situation where they’re in need of healthcare, regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented, we have an obligation to see that they are cared for,” Biden said. “That’s why I think we need more clinics around the country.”

Of course, he tried to soften the blow of his words by claiming that there are a significant number of illegal aliens in the country due to overstaying their visas.
“By the way, a significant portion of undocumented folks in this country are there because they’ve overstayed their visas,” the former vice president said. “It’s not people breaking down gates coming across the border, so the biggest thing we got to do on this thing is just tone down the rhetoric. We know why it’s happening. It’s to create fear and concern.”
However, it’s clear that Biden is lying through his fake teeth.
As the Epoch Times reports:
But numbers from the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) illustrate a different picture. In April, CBP agents detained 109,144 migrants, which is an increase of about 5 percent from March and the highest monthly figure since 2007. This includes more than 58,000 migrant parents and children and 8,800 unaccompanied children taken into custody, according to Homeland Security figures.
Additionally, in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector alone, more than 10,000 illegal aliens were apprehended this past week, making it one of the highest weekly total ever experienced in this sector, according to CBP. Moreover, over 7,000 illegal aliens are in custody at stations and processing centers.
Carla Provost, chief of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, said on May 8 during a hearing of the Senate Subcommittee on Border Security and Immigration that “apprehension numbers are off the charts.”
“We cannot address this crisis by shifting more resources. It’s like holding a bucket under a faucet. It doesn’t matter how many buckets we have if we can’t turn off the flow,” she said.
In a 2017 report, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) wrote:
At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $134.9 billion to cover the costs incurred by the presence of more than 12.5 million illegal aliens, and about 4.2 million citizen children of illegal aliens. That amounts to a tax burden of approximately $8,075 per illegal alien family member and a total of $115,894,597,664. The total cost of illegal immigration to U.S. taxpayers is both staggering and crippling. In 2013, FAIR estimated the total cost to be approximately $113 billion. So, in under four years, the cost has risen nearly $3 billion.
Care to rephrase your statement there, Mr. Biden?
“The biggest thing we have to do is tone down the rhetoric. We know why it’s happening. It’s to create fear and concern,” Biden said.
Actually, that isn’t it at all.
Medicare and Medicaid are only ways to enslave people regardless of their political affiliations. And while people can claim they pay into the system, my question to them is what if you don’t want to pay into the system? Then the force of lawless thugs is used against you to make you pay into the system where your money is taken and given to another whether that be a citizen, foreigner or illegal alien.
Biden grew up in America. He obviously heard the Bible taught, whether well taught or not. He just doesn’t understand it.
Are we as people obligated to care for others? Absolutely, if it is in our power to do so, but that does not mean through the force of government taking our money and demanding we pay for others’ healthcare.
Jesus put loving our neighbor like this.
25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” 27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” 30 Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side.32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.35 And the next day he took out two denarii[a] and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ 36 Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” 37 He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
See that? no government, no force, no stealing from Peter to pay Paul. Just compassion from one individual to another. The Good Samaritan is praised while the hypocritical religious people are condemned for their lack of love, and the Samaritan, though considered the mortal enemy of the man from Jerusalem, loved the man enough to not only care for him with what he had at the time, but also make sure the man was cared for and paid for it out of his own pocket.
Is there obligation? Yes, but it is a moral obligation, not a government enforced one.
Let’s see just how much money Joe Biden has given to illegal aliens for healthcare. My guess is it’s going to be zero, but he’s just fine giving your money away to get votes.
