Mainstream Media Lies & Attacks Trump Over “Animals” Comment – But He Was Talking About MS-13 Gang Members
Truly, there is nothing President Donald Trump can do that will ever be positive in the mainstream media’s eyes (except lob missiles unconstitutionally into countries like Syria), and the latest comments by the president demonstrate this. President Trump stated that MS-13 gang members were animals that he was trying to prevent coming into the US, and yet, the mainstream media warped that in such a fashion as to claim he meant the term “animals” to define immigrants.
Of course, nothing could be further from the truth, just like the media turns on the president’s comments when he distinguishes between legal and illegal immigration.
Take a listen to the comments Trump made in a meeting with sheriffs on Wednesday.

Here’s a transcript of what was said, and though Trump doesn’t name MS-13, his comments come on the heels of Sheriff Mims’ comments about MS-13, and furthermore, Trump does not broadbrush even all illegal immigrants, but is clearly talking about some of those trying to cross into the US illegally.
Margaret Mims, Fresno County Sheriff: “Thank you, Mr. President. You know, sheriffs in California are now in an untenable position when it comes to trying to figure out — now, we have state law, we have federal laws, and here we are stuck in the middle. Sheriffs, especially, because most of us run our county jails.
“When there became a legal challenge to the 48-hour holds for ICE, it was very frustrating for us. So what I did is I invited ICE to put their officers in my jails so they’re able to do their work. We didn’t have the staffing to be able to help figure out who they wanted to talk to or didn’t. I said, come on in, work with our people to keep our community safe. Two weeks later, Mr. President, Kate Steinle was murdered.
“Now, I wasn’t the only sheriff to do that. Sheriff Youngblood did, Sheriff Christianson. And it was perfect — because we didn’t have to take our time, with our staff, to do, to do anything. ICE was in there doing their work in a safe, controlled, environment. And then, the initiatives started happening — the TRUST Act, the TRUTH Act, and finally, SB 54, the Values Act. And that is causing us all kinds of turmoil.
“So here we are, stuck in the middle, trying to decide. We have federal law, we have state law. And that’s why I welcomed Attorney General Sessions’s lawsuit, because that will provide us the clarity that we need and direction that we need. What do we do? Because here we are.
“And I appreciated Mr. Homan and ICE. We had a great relationship; we still do. But now ICE is the only law enforcement agency that cannot use our databases to find the bad guys. They cannot come in and talk to people in our jail, unless they reach a certain threshold. They can’t do all kinds of things that other law enforcement agencies can do. And it’s really put us in a very bad position.”
Trump: “It’s a disgrace. Okay? It’s a disgrace.”
Mims: “It’s a disgrace.”
Trump: “And we’re suing on that, and we’re working hard, and I think it will all come together, because people want it to come together. It’s so ridiculous. The concept that we’re even talking about is ridiculous. We’ll take care of it, Margaret. We’ll win.”
Mims: “Thank you. There could be an MS-13 gang member I know about — if they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about it.”
Trump: “We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.
Of course, the Communists went after him. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tore into Trump by tweeting, “Immigrants are not ‘animals.’ The president’s statement was deeply offensive and racist. Immigrants are our family and friends, and they make significant contributions to our country.”

Nancy Pelosi also demonstrated that she has a listening comprehension problem, as well.
CNN political analyst Ryan Lizza also tweeted how Trump was “dehumanizing” gang members. Can you believe that!
“This is called dehumanization. When people start being seen as rats/roaches/animals very bad things can happen. That an American President made this comment is abhorrent beyond,” Lizza tweeted.

And just what would you call these savages, Ryan?
Well, he works for the fake news network, so not surprising. However, he didn’t live it down. He was mocked on Twitter as to when he would actually have the male anatomy to do a man on the street interview with MS-13 gang members.
When can we expect your in-depth “Man on the Street” @CNN piece about the humanity of MS-13, Ry???

Then, there’s John Harwood from CNBC.
however repugnant their actions, MS-13 gang members are human beings IMHO

Seriously? This is the battle you want to pick, defending MS13 gang members?

Human beings are overrated. pic.twitter.com/zIjbXrbRHi

No one is denying that these gang members are, in fact, human beings. The point is that they act like "animals" when engaging in murderous, violent, horrifying ways. There's nothing wrong with pointing that out. In fact, it's terrifying so many people are offended by it.

And my personal favorite responses to Harwood.
Go spend some time in Central America, live in the communities they dominate and see what happens to their foes and people who don't obey. They get tortured and dismembered. Then express an INFORMED humble opinion.

Do an image search for “MS-13 decapitations,” then lecture us about them being human.

Of course, Harwood is correct in that they are human beings, but the fact is that their vicious, bloodlust is nothing short of animalistic, in much the same fashion the Scriptures reference false prophets as “brute beasts” (2 Peter 2:12). Yep, the Creator called them that!
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders answered CBS News’ Steven Portnoy’s question about what Trump meant when he used the term “animals.”
Seriously, this is not freedom of the press nor freedom of speech to take people’s words out of context, distort them and twist them into something you can beat them with.
This wasn’t the only instance of a reporter getting it wrong. The Daily Caller reported that during a conference with the head of NATO, a reporter asked Trump to “clarify” his “animals” comment.
“I’m referring to the MS-13 gangs that are coming in,” Trump immediately responded. “If you look a little bit further on in the tape, you’ll see that.”
“So I’m actually surprised you’re asking this question because most people got it right,” Trump trolled, before doubling down. “MS-13, these are animals.”
“They’re coming into our country. We’re getting them out,” Trump said, “We need strong immigration laws. We have the weakest laws in the entire world. We have laws that are laughed at on immigration.”
Then Trump made his stance very clear, “So when the MS-13 comes in – I referred to them as animals and guess what? I always will.”
Even those who aren’t Donald Trump fans saw how skewered the media’s reporting of this was.
My distaste for Donald Trump is well-established, but if you're asking me to choose sides between Trump, on the one hand, and Hamas & MS-13, on the other, that's not a hard choice.
— Dan McLaughlin (@baseballcrank) May 17, 2018
He calls MS-13 animals… but you cut out the question to take it out of context and spin it. And you wonder why people don't trust media outlets. https://t.co/SlkWCPqv8x
