NYC: Muslims Pray in the Streets and Close Grocery Stores to Protest Trump’s Travel Ban

Some of the demonstrators were screaming “Allahu akbar.” Do they want to make New York like Sana’a? What is the purpose of these demonstrations, if not to intimidate people into thinking that it is wrong to resist massive and unrestricted Muslim immigration and jihad terror itself?

If the Muslims in the U.S. are so well assimilated, why all the non-stop grievance-mongering, complaining, lawsuits, and demands for accommodation etc.? Not mention Islamic Jew-hatred and support for a war on Israel.

The only difference between America and Europe is the number of Muslims. The bigger the Muslim population, the more restive, hostile and violent it will be — more on Muslim immigration here.

“Hundreds pray in the streets and close grocery stores in protest at Trump’s travel ban,” by Will Kirby, Express, February 3, 2017:

MORE than one thousand Yemeni American store owners have closed their businesses today and travelled to Brookyn Borough Hall to pray, rally and support those affected by President Trump’s controversial travel ban.

In what is being described as the ‘Bodega Strike’, thousands of Yemeni immigrants are demonstrating against Trump’s far-reaching US entry ban.

The Spanish word ‘Bodega’ is literally translated as ‘wine shop’ and is New York slang for convenience stores, and organisers of the strike claim there around around 6,000 Yemeni-owned Bodegas across the city.

The closures started at midday (5.00pm GMT) and will continue for eight hours.

A Facebook page set up for the strike states: “This shutdown of grocery stores and bodegas will be a public show of the vital role these grocers and their families play in New York’s economic and social fabric.

“During this period, grocery store owners will spend time with their families and loved ones to support each other; many of these families have been directly affected by the ban.”

President Trump signed an executive order banning immigration to the USA from seven ‘muslim’ countries. This led to protests across America and, now, the UK.

Debbie Almontaser, a strike organiser and board member of the Muslim Community Network, said: “Originally, we considered starting the shutdown at 8am, but the grocers they made it clear they wouldn’t be willing to close if that meant their regulars wouldn’t get their morning coffee.

“Even when their lives have been turned upside down, they refused to disrupt the lives of the very people they serve daily.”

Sulaiman Alaodyi, a 24-year-old cashier at the Best and Tasty deli in the borough of the Bronx, said this was the first time the store had closed its doors since it opened nine months ago.

“We want to send the message that we’re here.

“We’re going to go out and support all our brothers and sisters who are detained in airports and in other countries that can’t get back.

“This is just not fair.”…
