RFK Jr Has Lofty Goals As HHS Head, But Should Stick To The Constitution

Donald Trump has appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), created in 1979, which has 13 operating divisions – three human services agencies and 10 agencies in the US Public Health Services that include the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Institute of Health (NIH). The position requires Senate confirmation. But, RFK Jr. has already highlighted five plans for America’s public health under the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda.

Responding to Trump’s Nov. 14 announcement, Kennedy wrote on X that, “Together we will clean up corruption, stop the revolving door between industry and government, and return our health agencies to their rich tradition of gold-standard, evidence-based science. I will provide Americans with transparency and access to all the data so they can make informed choices for themselves and their families.”

America can get healthy again. To do that we need to do three things. First, root out the corruption in our health agencies. Second, change the incentives of the health care system. And third, inspire Americans to get healthy again,” Kennedy said in a speech in Arizona.

I’m going to urge President Trump on day one to do the same thing they did in COVID, which is to declare a national emergency, but not for infectious disease, but for chronic disease,” Kennedy said at a town hall in Michigan on Sept. 26.

Who can argue with “cleaning up corruption, stopping the revolving door between industry and government”, and “providing Americans with transparency and data” to make appropriate informed consent? Everyone wants to see these things happen. But, the question that remains is “Has any government health agency at any level ever had a ‘rich tradition of gold-standard, evidence-based science’ since the ‘science’ is usually conducted by Big Pharma or government-paid scientists”? More importantly, where in the Constitution is the federal government authorized to do any of this?

Who can disagree with “changing the incentives of the health care system”? Currently, the health care system incentive is money and profits, not health. This has been the case since Rockefeller usurped the health care system. As long as the CONvid-1984 emergency remains in place, the incentive for money and profits for the planned scam-demic remains in place. The emergency is set to expire in December of 2024. It was the outrageous additional reimbursement to health care providers during CONvid-1984 that drove hospitals to kill patients and doctors to diagnose everything as CONvid-1984 using nasal swabs and PCR testing. No one is saying those working in the healthcare system should not make a profit. But, the profit doesn’t have to be at the expense of the lives of Americans. Moreover, government reimbursement through Medicare and Medicaid does not even cover the costs of services meaning those costs are transferred to private insurance companies and self-pay individuals. It is the government’s unconstitutional intrusion into and usurpation of health care that has caused such problems.

There is not one American who goes around and says, “I want to be unhealthy”. Americans want to get healthy, but many factors contribute to the unhealthiness of Americans – inflation, shrinkflation, toxins in the environment, pharmaceutical drugs, pesticides in the food, toxins in the food, chemtrails, corporate industrial farming, government regulations, seed oils, stress, anxiety, etc. Let’s face it, highly processed foods are cheaper than whole foods. With the income of Americans taxed to the max, little is left over for Americans to live much less eat a healthier diet. Then, there are numerous Americans unemployed.

There is plenty of argument against asking Trump to declare a national emergency for chronic disease as was done in the CONvid-1984 planned scam-demic. The declarations of national emergencies have historically been used to gain more power and control, use executive orders for dictatorial tyranny, and further erode the rights of the people. Fighting chronic diseases is a noble cause for certain, but the federal government is not authorized by the Constitution to do so. Declaring a national emergency to fight chronic diseases is a recipe for disaster.

Returning the government to operating within the limitations outlined in the Constitution would certainly fix most of these issues RFK Jr. identified. But, power usurped is never relinquished.

Kennedy proposes staffing changes at several agencies to stop giant and private corporations from controlling the FDA, the CDC, and the US Department of Agriculture. He proposes to dismiss officials leading those agencies and replace them with individuals who will return the agencies to healing and public health services. He also proposes to trim 600 employees at the NIH and hire 600 new individuals while eliminating entire departments in the FDA.

He has vowed to address the issue of chemicals in ultra-processed food.

In America, 74 percent of adults are now overweight or obese, including 50 percent of our children. One hundred and twenty years ago, when someone was obese, they were sent to the circus. In Japan, the childhood obesity rate is 3 percent,” he added.

Kennedy also described the dramatic increase in adult and juvenile diabetes, the “explosion of neurological diseases that I never saw as a kid,” and fatty liver disease and cancer cases are on the rise.

So what’s causing all this suffering? I’ll name two culprits. First and the worst is ultra-processed foods. … The second culprit is toxic chemicals in our food, our medicine, and our environment,” he said.

He said these ultra-processed foods have chemicals that didn’t exist a century ago, and that they are partly responsible for the rise in disease. Though many of these chemicals are banned in Europe, he noted, they are ubiquitous in American foods.

We are literally poisoning our children systematically for profit,” he said at the Sept. 23 roundtable. “Pesticides, food additives, pharmaceutical drugs, and toxic waste permeate every cell in our bodies.”

Who can’t get behind the removal of toxic chemicals, pesticides, food additives, and toxic waste from our food supply? It was big corporations and corporate industrial farming that put these things in the food. And, the government, through unconstitutional agencies allowed it. Why? Big corporations paid government to allow it.

Kennedy wants to get processed foods out of school lunches and stop the use of food stamps towards “junk food.” Getting processed foods out of school lunches should be done at the local level. He is also against the poison fluoride being added to the water supply. Again, grassroots action at the local level can get this poison out of the water system. Several towns have already succeeded in removing fluoridation from their water supply.

RFK Jr. recognizes that many of the government agencies have been captured by corporations.

Eighty percent of NIH grants go to people who have conflicts of interest,” Kennedy said on Aug. 23.

These agencies, the FDA, the USDA, the CDC, all of them are controlled by giant for-profit corporations. Seventy-five percent of the FDA funding doesn’t come from taxpayers. It comes from pharma. And pharma executives and consultants and lobbyists cycle in and out of these agencies,” Kennedy said.

With President Trump’s backing, I am going to change that. We are going to staff these agencies with honest scientists and doctors free from industry funding. We will make sure that the decisions of consumers, doctors, and patients are informed by unbiased science,” he said.

Kennedy also wants to “reform” the Prescription Drug User Fee Act, which allows the FDA to collect fees for application processing for approval of new drugs. Moreover, he wants to review advertising rules for pharmaceutical companies and possibly ban pharmaceutical companies from television advertising. To go along with all of this, he proposes to eliminate the immunity from liability for drug corporations. This will take Congress to legislate this as immunity from liability was legislated by Congress in 1986 – unconstitutional as that legislation is.

Last, but not least, is RFK Jr.’s stance on vaccines.

I’ve never been anti-vaccine. People should have choice, and that choice should be informed by the best information possible,“ he said, ”I’m going to ensure that there are science-based safety studies available and people can make their own assessments about whether a vaccine is good for them.”

At a forum hosted by media host Tucker Carlson in October, Kennedy said he wants to “restore the transparency” around vaccines, not ban them.

[Trump] doesn’t want me to take vaccines away from people. If you want to take a vaccine, you ought to be able to take it. We believe in free choice in this country. You ought to know the risks and benefits of everything you take,” Kennedy said.

Everyone can agree that individuals should have a choice in any medical intervention, including vaccines, after receiving proper informed consent. The problem is no one receives proper informed consent. The States, charged with laws concerning medical practice and informed consent, rarely enforce those laws when violations are brought forth. Moreover, with the PREP Act, it seems State laws on medical malpractice, assault and battery, and negligence, etc. have been rendered moot.

Good luck with getting transparency where vaccines are concerned. Big Pharma hides behind the “proprietary” formula justification to keep critical information hidden. With both sides of the aisle getting their palms greased by Big Pharma lobbyists, this will all go over like a lead balloon.

States have mandated school children receive vaccinations known to cause harm after the CDC issues recommendations only. To be relieved of this mandate, parents are required to submit to the State a religious, medical, or philosophical exemption, which the State has to approve. Why isn’t the verbal refusal after informed consent enough for the State? It is public health agencies doing all of this at the State level. That is where the fight has to occur – the State level since the erroneous and unconstitutional Supreme Court decision in 1905 that upheld States mandating vaccines.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has some lofty goals as the appointee to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Hopefully, he will have some success especially where conflicts of interest, corruption, and corporate influence in government agencies are concerned. Real success for the American people will come when the federal and State governments are rooted out of healthcare and the health of all Americans.
