White House: Obama Administration Weaponized Shutdown in 2013
It’s hard to forget the government shutdown in 2013, brought to us by Hussein Soetoro and his band of merry Commucrats.
During the shutdown, Hussein Soetoro denied families of fallen soldiers government death benefits; denied children cancer treatments; World War II veterans the right to visit the memorial to that war, which they helped build; US soldiers of military chaplains he placed on furloughs; and, military members overseas of broadcasts of entertainment television (H/T Richard Anthony).
Now, in the face of a potential shutdown, Mick Mulvaney informed the public yesterday, Hussein Soetoro/his administration “intentionally did not encourage agencies to continue working during a 2013 government shutdown for political reasons.
The Daily Caller reported:
“The Obama administration weaponized the shutdown in 2013. They did not encourage agencies to use carry forward funds or use transfer authority,” Mulvaney said. Mulvaney addressed reporters alongside with White House director of legislative affairs Marc Short the Friday deadline for stopping a government shutdown looms.
Mulvaney and Short noted that Democratic lawmakers do not appear to be making any specific demands to avoid a government shutdown. Democratic lawmakers have said they want a deal to codify protections for illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children into law. Short said however that Democratic lawmakers have no bill text they are insisting on and that President Donald Trump has repeatedly indicated what provisions must be in any such bill to preserve the DACA program.
Mulvaney said the Trump administration would keep some services open like national parks and the TSA. Federal workers, including U.S. troops, firefighters, and border patrol authorities, will however be forced to work without pay.
The alternative media, independent bloggers, radio talk show hosts, and YouTubers documented for posterity the pettiness of Hussein Soetoro during the government shutdown in 2013 by closing the World War I and II open air memorials, denying veterans who had flown to Washington, DC, by special charter the opportunity to visit the memorial, which they funded. National parks were closed; individuals living in the parks and/or who had businesses there were prevented from accessing their home/business causing many to suffer financial hardship. Visitors there were harassed by park rangers to leave. Mr. Anthony’s summation of the vindictiveness of Hussein Soetoro covered all areas where closings were done purely for spite since a budget centered around defunding/delaying Obamacare could not be finalized before the deadline.
If you remember the 2013 shutdown, Democommicrats issued a “my way or the highway” type of compromise that Republicans would not accept.
There existed no real compromise; it was to give Obama what he wanted or else.
Once the federal “shutdown” occurred, Democommicrats blamed it on the Republicans, whom they derided for “denying individuals health care, not wanting individuals to have health care”, and portraying Republicans as arrogant snobs.
Then, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) stated during a press conference when asked about providing children with cancer treatments, “Why would I do that?”
It exposed the truly callous, vindictive and ruthless nature of the Democommicratic Party to pull out all the stops to get their way, similar to the temper tantrums of children.
Negative press coverage resulted in Republicans caving to Hussein Soetoro and his merry band of Democommicrats.
Hussein Soetoro “weaponized” the shutdown purely to make it more difficult upon the people.
Services provided at some memorials and parks that required zero funding to operate were closed out of spite and vindictiveness, which affected constitutionalists and anti-constitutionalists alike.
This sounds like an incident of “high crimes and misdemeanors” deserving of impeachment while he was in office.
Unfortunately, cowardly Republicans refused to follow the law – impeachment clause contained in the Constitution for the united States of America.
Now that he served his two terms and cannot return to office, court cases should arise over the harassment suffered by individuals and the damage to individuals’ livelihood that occurred because of his petty vindictiveness.
And yes, he should be held personally liable for damages to businesses involved and harassment of the public along with all those government-employed individuals who justified carrying out those actions with “I was only following orders” and “I didn’t want to lose my job.”
Going further down the rabbit hole of the Hussein Soetoro administration, what other infractions were committed because of the illegitimate Kenyan wanna-be dictator during his “reign.”
If he acted this vindictively over a budget that did not include his signature healthcare insurance bill, what other actions were taken that were criminal and hidden away from the public?
The only issue with federal government shutdowns has been the payment of government employees working in essential services that are kept open.
Not surprisingly, members of both chambers of Congress and their staff are paid during a “shutdown” while forcing other government employees dependent on their paychecks to basically function as “slaves.”
Frankly, everyone should be disgusted at what occurred during the 2013 “shutdown” because an individual was not held accountable for his actions, along with those who functioned as the “Hussein Brown Shirts,” bringing undue harassment upon business owners/individual homeowners alike.
It would not be difficult for Congress to appropriate a bill to ensure government employees who work in agencies performing essential services are paid until the “children” in both chambers of Congress can play together nicely on a constitutional spending budget.
Moreover, if an entire agency is considered “non-essential” and not authorized by the Constitution, that agency should be permanently dismantled and closed.
This coupled with the “explosive” memo document being held by Congress should be enough to warrant charges against Hussein Soetoro and former members of his administration.
Unfortunately, neither chamber of Congress is filled with men, much less honorable, honest statesmen, who will perform their constitutional duty as declared in their oath of office.
This republic has devolved into a caste system oligarchy where government caste criminals receive impunity while the serf people caste are harassed with prosecution and punishment for the same crimes.
We are presented with “dog and pony show” investigations by Congress and federal law enforcement that never conclude with any definitive action.
It has long past time for the lawlessness, corruption and squander to end in the District of Corruption.
The people should demand and expect the rule of law be upheld and enforced.
If these members of both chambers of Congress cannot see clear to honor the law and their oath, new guards who will uphold the rule of law and honor it (their oath) should be voted into office, replacing the lawless and corrupt.
During non-election years, recall petitions should prevail to remove a lawless and corrupt member of Congress in order to instill an individual beholden to the law.
Our apathy toward government has to be changed in order for government criminals to be held accountable.
Until then, we will continue to watch “entertainment legislature” with our popcorn and soda, stopping to belch when viewing unconstitutional and unlawful actions detrimental to our liberty, freedom, and life.
