A 15-year-old Bronx teenager was murdered by members of a Dominican gang with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) ties last Wednesday.  Five suspects are now in custody.

Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, 15, was violently attacked with a knife and stabbed to death after an apparent case of mistaken identity.

The New York Post posted a graphic video from a surveillance camera that captured the moment that Feliz was grabbed and pulled out onto the street where he was fatally stabbed.

Though the suspects fled, Feliz was seen staggering away from the area that he was stabbed.

Police then put out the faces of five suspects from surveillance video.

According to police sources, the mistaken identity was tied to revenge over a sex video that involved a relative of one of his attackers.

The gang leader was unrepentant, but did apologize for murdering the wrong guy.  According to the Post:

Sorry, we murdered the wrong guy.

That’s what members of the deadly Trinitarios street gang told grieving relatives of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, the 15-year-old Bronx teen dragged from a bodega and slaughtered like an animal on the street, the family said Saturday.

“I’m sorry,” one of the messages from a “top leader” said, according to Derek Grullon, 19, the boyfriend of the victim’s sister, Genesis.

“I know it doesn’t mean a lot. It wasn’t supposed to be him,” the message continued.

And as if it was any consolation, the gang-banger affirmed in the two-minute Snapchat recording that the savages responsible have been booted from the notorious Dominican crew.

“He [the gang leader] said they kicked all of them out of the gang,” Grullon said.

“We cried,” Grullon said of hearing the messages. “He was innocent.”

In another report by the New York Post, Feliz’s mother said that he wanted to be a policeman.

His mom told The Post on Saturday that her son was a “sweet kid” who aspired to one day become a cop.

“His dream in the future was to be a detective,” Leandra Feliz, 48, told The Post. “Since he was 5 years old, he told me, ‘Mommy, I want to be a police.’”

“He loved the police car,” she added, using her hands as a steering wheel. “[He said], ‘I wanna drive the police car.’”

He was enrolled in the NYPD Explorers program, a program for youth ages 14 to 20 who are interested in a career in law enforcement, police sources said.

The Trinitarios are one of several street gangs that has been tied to having recipients of the Obama-era DACA program.

According to NewsWars.com:

According to a recent report by the Center For Immigration Studies, more than 500 DACA recipients whose statuses were revoked due to criminal or gang involvement were still at large in the US – some of whom were known to belong to Trinitarios.

A 2008 report in the Post warned that Trinitarios, comprised largely of second-generation Dominican teens, were recruiting heavily in New York and New Jersey schools.

“The Trinitarios are considered the fastest-growing gang in New York and renowned for using machetes and violence to make a statement,” a gang investigator said at the time.

Watch the video and tell me these people are not animals, just like the members of MS-13.  DACA was against the law, and so is murder.

Perhaps no mercy should be shown to these criminals.  A quick judicial means of instituting the death penalty would serve justice and ensure that these killers never kill again, but Americans are too squeamish for that, right?  So, we continue to get what we tolerate.
