Actor George Clooney admitted that his wife, Amal, helped to draft the Muslim Brotherhood constitution in 2012 for Egypt.
Clooney made the admission on The Drew Barrymore Show.
According to Clooney, his wife was “in a meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood” to draft Egypt’s constitution.

Egyptian newspaper Al-Dustour highlighted remarks by Hollywood star George Clooney, stating that his wife, Amal Clooney, a British-Lebanese lawyer, drafted Egypt’s 2012 constitution at the request of the Muslim Brotherhood.
ME24 learned that Brotherhood leaders in Qatar contacted Egyptian opposition bloggers and activists in the UK, urging them to write posts or produce videos attacking Clooney’s statements:
1- The interview cited by Clooney is several years old.
2- Certain Arab regimes, particularly in Egypt and the UAE, are reviving old archives to criticize the Brotherhood.
