911 Call from Colorado Days Inn Could Be Abortion Related, Motel Less than 6 Miles from Planned Parenthood that Killed Lexi

Fort Collins, CO — A recent investigation by Operation Rescue into a Colorado 911 call from a motel located less than 6 miles from the Fort Collins Planned Parenthood may be related to an abortion complication.

On Friday, June 12, at approximately 9:20 PM, public dispatch records indicate an ambulance was called to a Days Inn Motel for a 23-year-old female who reportedly “had an operation earlier [that day]” and was now complaining of “stomach pain and severe vaginal bleeding.”

Local sidewalk counselors confirm that Fridays are abortion days at the Fort Collins Planned Parenthood, making it very possible that the “operation” this woman underwent was a surgical abortion.

Other key factors about the location of this Days Inn are also disconcerting. Besides being just a thirteen-minute drive from Planned Parenthood, the motel is also part of a cluster of low-cost motels in the East Mulberry Street corridor, right next to I-25. The area is reportedly known for human trafficking. In fact, this Days Inn is just one mile from a Motel 6 currently being sued by a victim allegedly trafficked while motel employees remained silent.

“It seems very possible that this woman was experiencing an abortion complication,” says Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue, “and who knows what else. Colorado officials have done all they can to turn their state into an abortion destination — or, as we call it, an abortion devastation. There are no gestational limits, and abortion clinics are not required to undergo any inspections or a licensing process. It’s a human trafficker’s dream. And, when other women come in from surrounding states, unaware of the injuries piling up at these unregulated clinics, they are just left to enter at their own risk.”

911 dispatch designated this call as a “Delta Medical,” one of the highest codes possible, which indicates a serious, life-threatening medical event. EMS units that responded also asked for “blood” to be dispatched, meaning more blood was brought on-site. A request for “blood” usually indicates that EMS anticipates a patient will need blood transfusions.

Dispatch also told the EMS units arriving at the Days Inn that someone would have to obtain a key to the hotel room, as the woman could not seem to get up. Dispatch relayed to emergency responders: “The informant’s saying she’s unable to get to the door.”

Newman adds, “I’d be willing to bet emergency responders are receiving numerous calls like this from women in sketchy motel rooms, exploited by unlicensed abortion operations, then left to deal with life-threatening complications all on their own.”

Fort Collins Planned Parenthood is the same clinic responsible for the death of 18-year-old Lexi Arguello, whose unredacted autopsy confirmed she died of abortion complications that developed during a second-trimester abortion. Since her death last year, 10 more women have been injured at this same location. This unfortunate woman with severe bleeding at the Days Inn could make eleven.

The Park Hill Planned Parenthood in Denver, just about an hour from Fort Collins, has also injured numerous women. Operation Rescue published a report one week prior about three more women recently injured by this unregulated abortion business. In total, Operation Rescue has investigated eight abortion emergencies at the Park Hill Planned Parenthood in less than two years. None were investigated by the state.

In 2025, Colorado abortion injuries made up nearly a third of Operation Rescue’s total investigations. Six months into 2026, the Centennial State is already trending in that same direction.

“Colorado abortion radicals holding public office may be determined to ignore these incidents and leave the public to fall victim to dangerous, unregulated abortion operations,” says Newman, “but Operation Rescue and a growing coalition of pro-life organizations and leaders within the state will not be silent.

“These late-term clinics are performing dangerous second and third-trimester abortions with no oversight and no consequences whatsoever when they injure or even kill women. We will continue to speak out, to expose these back-alley operations, and to call out the legislators, state officials, and state departments tasked with keeping the public safe but choosing, instead, to shield Big Abortion.”
