CNN Praises Trump’s Immigration Summit – Is Amnesty Just Around The Corner?

The GOP should be very worried about the ongoing negotiations they are holding with their Democrat partners.

If the Democrats have their way, and the President seems willing to side with the Democrats on this, then we could soon see another massive amnesty of illegal aliens.

A just discovered memo that was circulated among Democrat leaders and organizations argued that the Democrats had to amnesty the “DREAMers” because they would soon need their votes to win elections.

The Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund circulated a memo on Monday calling illegal immigrants brought here at a young age — so-called “Dreamers” — a “critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success.”

The memo, co-authored by former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, was sent around to allies calling on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them”…

CAP Action’s memo says protecting DACA is not only a “moral imperative” for Democrats, it also key to getting votes.

“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” reads Palmieri’s memo, obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“If Democrats don’t try to do everything in their power to defend Dreamers, that will jeopardize Democrats’ electoral chances in 2018 and beyond,” reads the memo. “In short, the next few weeks will tell us a lot about the Democratic Party and its long-term electoral prospects.”

The GOP and President Trump are playing a dangerous game by considering a DACA amnesty, as the Democrats have made clear.

Meanwhile, the media has been busy attempting to “butter up” the President by praising his efforts at mediating immigration reform. After listening to the media mock him, and question his mental faculties, it seems odd timing to hear them praising him just as he’s considering amnestying hundreds of thousands of illegals.

Could there be an ulterior motive? Maybe.

Here’s Dana Bash praising the President on CNN:

“This really was a negotiation. We really got to be the fly on the wall in this room listening to the way they talk. I’m really not convinced that it would have been any different had the cameras not been in there. I was just communicating with now two Republicans who were in that meeting who said that they had no idea that the cameras were going to stay in there as long as they did. The president before the cameras came on said we will just do a typical thing. They’re going to come in, I’m going to make a remark and you guys can too. And so on and so forth.

I’m sure I will get hit for this and I don’t really care. The bottom line is that this is, a year ago, this is the presidency that many people thought Donald Trump was capable of.

We don’t know if this is a results-driven debate, but just the notion of him being in command, of him wanting the cameras in there and wanting the cameras to see him sitting at a table with Democrats and Republicans, playing the role of a deal maker. Whether it sees fruition or not, this is what people who had high hopes for the Trump presidency thought it would be. Meeting after meeting like this.”
