Back in February, I reported on trucker Kevin Kimmel, who noticed something strange, called the police and subsequently saved a woman, who had been held by couple as a sex slave. Now, as the man and woman are in court, it is coming to light that they abused the 20-year-old woman they held hostage as an eight-year-old girl watched.

In our previous report, Kimmel told what happened.

“Saw what looked like a young girl looking out the window, the black drapes didn’t make it look like a families’ RV, you know,” Kimmel said. “I saw a guy come up and knock on the door then go inside the Pilot–then quickly came back and knocked again, all of the sudden the thing was rocking and rolling.”

“When I saw the young girl’s face, I said that’s not going to happen, I’ve got daughters and granddaughters,” Kimmel said.

Indeed, once authorities arrived, they found that the young woman not only appeared “disheveled and malnourished,” but that her “feet had puncture wounds on top consistent with nails hammered into her flesh and numerous burns on her abdomen, groin and back consistent with being struck and stamped with a hot metal key.”

Now, the Daily Mail is reporting further depravity that the couple engaged in. Hodza has an eight-year-old daughter who witnessed many of the abuse and sexual attacks. The couple not only used hot keys to brand their victim, but also scissors that were heated over the RV’s stove. They extinguished cigarettes on her body, drove nails into her feet and poured bleach on her wounds. Additionally, they forced the young woman to have sex with men who answered online ads.

The couple held the 20-year-old hostage for 18 days. They even dragged her along a gravel path by a dog leash and kept the victim in a dog cage at times.

At one point Hodza slit a dog’s throat in the RV and threatened his victim with cutting out her organs slowly if she failed to stay put.

US District Judge Henry Hudson issued a sentence of nearly 42 years for Hodza and 40 years for Sorensen.

Hoza and Sorensen apologized, but one has to wonder at the sincerity.

“This is monstrous, horrible, senseless, inexplicable, inexcusable,” Hodza said. “I offer sincere apologies. I know that doesn’t mean much because I can’t take back what happened.”

Judge Hudson thinks that Hodza has a “dangerously dark side.”

“Some of the things you did to this young lady are so horrifying you cannot capture it in words,” Hudson told Hodza.

“I made a bad choice. However, I am not a bad person,” said Sorensen.

Not a bad person? Really? I wonder if she would think someone who would do those kinds of things to her was a “bad person.”

These two are not going to get justice. They will get three hots and a cot at the expense of their victim and her family. They will be kept up on the tax payer’s dime, when what should happen is that there should be a swift public execution of both to bring about justice and cause anyone thinking of such things to fear.
