Did Planned Parenthood Just Fall Into CMP’s Trap? – Abortion Mill Files Suit for Exposing their Criminal Enterprise

It was only a matter of time before the largest abortion provider would fight back. They, for whatever reason, had taken little action to stave off the public attacks leveled against them. The attacks had come as videos were released, showing employees seeking to sell baby parts.

It may be that the abortion giant was waiting on the fallout, before attempting to fight back. It might have sensed that popular opinion was against them. It is just as likely that Planned Parenthood wanted to ensure that there were not going to be any indictments first.

Now that it seems all is free and clear, they are seeking to silence the source of the criticism.

Reuters reports:

Planned Parenthood filed a federal lawsuit on Thursday arguing that a group acted illegally when it secretly recorded videos alleging the women’s health organization profited from selling fetal tissue from abortions.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in San Francisco against anti-abortion group the Center for Medical Progress alleges conspiracy and fraud among other violations in connection with the recordings.

From the wording of the report, Planned Parenthood can expect significant support from the media. The first indication is that Planned Parenthood is referred to as a “women’s health organization.” Rather than Mr. Skinner be upfront and honest about what Planned Parenthood is and what they do, he seeks to point people to what they have been trying to push politically.

For years, the abortion provider has sought to repackage itself as a healthcare provider. They and their political supporters have claimed that they give care to women who would otherwise do without. This has been disproved several times over. They provide nothing that other non-abortion organizations do not also provide.

Next, Skinner words things in such a way to throw doubt on the authenticity of the video. He says that the video that was secretly recorded “allegedly” claims something. He either does not realize that videos do not allegedly do anything. They show what occurred at a particular time. There is no doubt that the subject of these videos was the sale of baby parts for money.

Reuters continues:

“This case is about a network of anti-abortion extremists and the laws they broke in order to spread lies and harm Planned Parenthood,” Dawn Laguens, vice president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said on a conference call.

No Planned Parenthood staff were involved in any wrongdoing, Laguens said, and the organization has not profited from its tissue donation programs.

It is unclear if there is any hope that this lawsuit will gain any traction in court. There is the chance that this is another example of a strong organization seeking to drain the funds of its smaller enemy. However, it does not seem that the CMP is the least bit concerned.

Reuters added:

The Center for Medical Progress called the lawsuit “frivolous” in a statement.

“This last-ditch move of desperation is going to expose all of the sordid dealings of the California Planned Parenthood affiliates,” the group said.

Maybe, much like with Goliath, Planned Parenthood has fallen into the trap of pride. It is entirely possible that this could be exactly what CMP wanted all along. We can only hope that God will grant them success.
