Former Secretary of State Buries Hillary Clinton as She Seeks to Defend Her
Former Secretary State under Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, recently appeared as a guest on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to discuss the ever-growing scandal surrounding the Hillary Clinton campaign. Albright was obviously there to support Clinton and did her very best to dispel the criticism that has embroiled her campaign.
When asked for her take on the entire email scandal hubbub, Albright hemmed and hawed in an effort to spin the scandal as entirely trumped up.
“I think she has spoken to this very clearly, and I do not see that as a security breach,” Albright, a longtime Clinton ally, said in a roundtable discussion on MSNBC’s Morning Joe…

“I think that it is important to be tough because we are obviously concerned about hacking and a variety of issues, but I think she has explained what she’s done. She’s turned things over,” Albright remarked, noting that every agency has a different definition of what it considers classified…
“I think that our government, generally, has to catch up with a variety of ways of using technology these days,” she added.
However, when journalist Mark Halperin interrupted to ask the obvious question, Albright’s “helpful” commentary ceased and the logical response that everyone else has had came forth.
Mark Halperin: If you were Secretary of State now and your Deputy Secretary of State said I want to do all of my email on a personal server on a private email account, would you approve that?
Madeleine Albright: I would not. No.
Apparently realizing that her interview did more to hurt Clinton than to help (probably after an upset Clinton staffer called her), Albright took to Twitter to try to smooth things over…
@MarkHalperin Your question was whether I would approve it now. After all of this controversy – of course not. 1/2

Bottom line is @hillaryclinton will be an exceptional president. She has explained & apologized. Now Let's move on to the issues. 2/2

I’m not buying it, Ms. Albright. I think that you had a moment of candor and honesty on the show and now you’re backtracking in an effort to protect Hillary’s campaign. Had Halperin simply said ‘would you have approved of this behavior during your tenure’ – your answer would have been “no” as well.
Perhaps it’s time for liberals to stop trying to cover, protect and carry water for Hillary Clinton. Instead they should realize that she’s not just a flawed politician – she’s also a bad person who has no place leading our nation or representing our people.
