Editor’s Note: Keep in mind that the Common Core Diva Lynne Taylor has warned how merely abolishing the Department of Education will not stop the federal government’s involvement and the pretended legislation that deals with “education“. Rather, it must systematically be abolished after we removed all the unlawful, pretended laws that fund and dictate the indoctrination of America’s children.
Even Democrats don’t like it.
Abolishing the Department of Education has been a longtime dream of conservatives. The Pew survey measuring the popularity of parts of the federal government would suggest the public could be on board.
The National Park Service clocks in as the most popular arms of the federal government followed by the Post Office and NASA.
The least popular parts are the IRS 51% negative to 42% positive, and the Department of Education, 47% negative to 45% positive.

Yes, it’s still at 45% positive, but the IRS is at 42% positive. This just goes to show you that Democrats will maintain a positive view of even the most reviled arms of the federal government.
Most federal agencies with the exceptions of the Park Service, the VA, DHS, NASA, and Social Security are underwater among Republicans. While Democrats love nearly every federal agency. Only two rank quite poorly, the IRS and the Department of Education at 30% negative to 62% positive.
That’s still mostly positive, but Dems tend to have much more positive views of federal agencies.
Going back to the 2019 survey, we see the map before the ‘pandemic’ effect kicked in for some agencies. GOP approval of the FBI/CIA had yet to crater, but the Department of Education was already faring poorly, but not yet underwater.
The question is why is the DOE unpopular not just among Republicans, but Democrats?
That doesn’t mean most Dems will climb on board with abolishing the DOE, but it suggests possibilities.
