The Daily Mail reports:
A man was burned inside Manhattan’s Penn Station train terminal on Friday, just days after a woman was set ablaze inside a Brooklyn subway car.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority police received a report of a man on fire at the transit hub just before 8pm, and when officers arrived on the scene, they found a 67-year-old man on fire near the entrance to the subway, according to the New York Daily News.
He had burn injuries to both her legs and upper body, which a fire department spokesman told the New York Times were serious but not life threatening.
Officers with the New York State police, MTA Police Department and the New York Fire Department were then seen focusing on a New Jersey Transit tunnel near tracks one through 12, according to the New York Post.
It was cordoned off by police tape as authorities seemed to focus on scraps of white clothing scattered on the ground.
Police said they were reviewing footage from security cameras and trying to find witnesses, as they investigate what caused the man’s injuries.
But it comes just days after an illegal migrant allegedly set a woman on fire.
Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, 33, has now been indicted on five charges of murder and arson.
