Reports: Alleged Chinese Spy Was Senator Dianne Feinstein’s Driver

According to at least two reports, Senator Dianne Feinstein’s (D-CA)  driver of more than 20 years was also an alleged Chinese spy.

According to reports from Politico and the San Francisco Chronicle, “Dianne was mortified” upon hearing the news, as if she had no idea of the infiltration.

Zach Dorfman wrote at Politico:

Political espionage happens here, too. China, for example, is certainly out to steal U.S. technology secrets, noted former intelligence officials, but it also is heavily invested in traditional political intelligence gathering, influence and perception-management operations in California. Former intelligence officials told me that Chinese intelligence once recruited a staff member at a California office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, and the source reported back to China about local politics. (A spokesperson for Feinstein said the office doesn’t comment on personnel matters or investigations, but noted that no Feinstein staffer in California has ever had a security clearance.) At the Aspen Security Forum last week, FBI director Chris Wray acknowledged the threat Chinese spying in particular poses, saying, “China from a counterintelligence perspective represents the broadest, most pervasive, most threatening challenge we face as a country.”

Making it even more complicated, said multiple former U.S. intel officials, many foreign intel “collectors” in the Bay Area are not spies in the traditional sense of the term. They aren’t based out of embassies or consulates, and may be associated with a state-owned business or research institute rather than an intelligence agency. Chinese officials, in particular, often cajole or outright threaten Chinese nationals (or U.S. citizens with family members in China) working or studying locally to provide them with valuable technological information.

“You get into situations where you have really good, really bright, conscientious people, twisted by their home government,” said a chief security officer at a major cloud storage company that maintains sensitive government contracts. U.S.-based Chinese employees of this company have had Chinese government officials attempt to “leverage” these individuals’ family members in China, this person told me. The company now requires employees working on certain projects to be U.S. citizens.

The San Francisco Chronicle followed up on the mention of the spy and reported:

A local source who knew about the incident confirmed to us that the FBI showed up at Feinstein’s office in Washington, D.C., about five years ago to alert the then-chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee that her driver was being investigated for possible Chinese spying.

Besides driving her around when she was in California, the staffer also served as gofer in her San Francisco office and as a liaison to the Asian American community, even attending Chinese Consulate functions for the senator.

According to our source, the intrigue started years earlier when the staffer took a trip to Asia to visit relatives and was befriended by someone who continued to stay in touch with him on subsequent visits.

That someone was connected with the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of State Security.

“He didn’t even know what was happening — that he was being recruited,” says our source. “He just thought it was some friend.”

According to the source the San Francisco Chronicle cited, the driver didn’t turn over anything of substance to the Chinese.

The source told The San Francisco Chronicle that the FBI “interviewed him, and Dianne forced him to retire, and that was the end of it.”

However, consider this is the same FBI who basically did nothing concerning a Muslim spy ring that was hired by numerous Democrat representatives.  This is the same FBI that has claimed Russian collusion for nearly two years against the Trump administration with virtually no evidence to back up their claims.  This is also the same FBI that covered for Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server that did allow classified information to be seen by people without security clearance and not recommend her for prosecution.  And this is the same FBI that knew about there was a threat to the life of activist Pamela Geller and did nothing.

I honestly don’t put much stock in their claims the nothing of substance was provided.  What do they base that on?  Did they actually investigate it?  Maybe it was an investigation similar to the one their sniper boy is going through in Oregon in which they just can’t seem to find all the shell casings tied to the gunning down of LaVoy Finicum.

“None of her staff ever knew what was going on,” the source added. “They just kept it quiet.”

OK, so no one knew what was going on, but they kept quiet.  About what?  The man’s termination?  His alleged spying?  This allegedly happened five years ago!

America needs answers!  We need to actually know if Feinstein, who in my opinion is a treasonous woman to the united States, knew about what was going on, was bribed or helped in any way.

This seems a lot more substantive than the claims of Russian collusion was are being daily bombarded with, don’t you think?
