Sexual Predator Hides Out In Mother of 12-Year-Old Girl’s House – She Wields Him Off With Spoon, Then Blows Him Away!
In what must have been a terrifying experience, a Blakely, Georgia woman discovered a sexual predator in her home, but thinking quickly, she defended her 12-year-old daughter and herself with a spoon until she was able to pull her gun on him and fire a shot into his chest.
Yes, you read that right. The woman initially used a spoon to fend off 53-year-old Michael Lindsey, a convicted sex offender!
In a report from WTVY, the shooting took place last Saturday.

Lindsey had broken into the woman’s home, which had been burglarized twice before, and was hiding in the closet.
However, during a 911 call, the woman, who had her 12-year-old daughter with her, discovered the man and claims that she was attacked by him.
Nowhere in the report is it stated what kind of spoon was used to help, but one could imagine a very large serving spoon or ladle of some sort, though I suppose if one was clever enough, they could wield a regular spoon at the face to cause some damage.
At some point, the woman was able to draw her handgun and fire a shot at Lindsey.
Early County Investigator Captain Will Caudill said, “Deputies arrived at the scene and insured the safety of the victims who had locked themselves inside a room because they weren’t sure if the intruder was still inside the home.”
Lindsey was found outside the home later and taken to a Blakely hospital and pronounced dead. He apparently stumbled out of the house after being shot and collapsed.
Lindsey was convicted of molesting a child in 1999 and has been listed on the Georgia Sex Offender Registry.
The woman was not charged, and rightly so.
However, that is not the end of the story. WTVY also added that an Early County grand jury could consider evidence turned over by police in the matter.
For many gun grabbing politicians, they would have been all too happy for her to be defending herself and her daughter with just that simple spoon. It’s a good thing she had a gun and able to exercise her God-given right to keep and bear that weapon.
