With tax money now flowing toward everything from Islamic schools to home educators, government control over all education is expanding rapidly and it will get worse, warns education policy analyst Lynn Davenport in this interview on Conversations That Matter with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman.
Davenport, who fought the government-funded “school choice” scheme and warned this would happen, says the program will ultimately undermine the freedom of homeschooling families who do not take them money, too. The subsidies will expand government in addition to fueling more waste, fraud, and abuse.
