The Outrage Grows Over Epstein’s “Suicide” – But Will There Be Justice?
I have yet to run across one person that believes that billionaire Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide under the circumstances provided in the official narrative by those in authority or in the media. I have covered whether or not he committed suicide, was “suicided,” or whether or not his death was faked.
Yet, there is a growing myriad of voices that are outraged across the political spectrum that are demanding “heads must roll” after Epstein’s alleged “suicide.”
Earlier, Michael Snyder provided the following 10 quotes by big names in political society regarding Epstein’s alleged “suicide.”
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: “We need answers. Lots of them.”
U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz: “Chairman @RepJerryNadler should prioritize a Judiciary investigation into how Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody (in Nadler’s own neighborhood!) over the Kavanaugh confirmation (which already happened), and the Russia hoax (which never happened).”
Joe Scarborough: “A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives ends up dead in his jail cell. How predictably…Russian.”
Rudy Giuliani: “What does the word watch mean in the phrase suicide Watch? Who was watching? What does the camera show? It is inconceivable Epstein could have hung himself if there was a suicide Watch? Follow the motives.”Harlan Z. Hill: “Dead men tell no tales. Just as Jeffrey Epstein starts to name names, he decides to kill himself? Mkay. Totally believable.”
Former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill: “Something stinks to high heaven. How does someone on suicide watch hang himself with no intervention? Impossible. Unless…..”
Paul Krugman: “If we were living in a paranoid fantasy universe, I would be very suspicious about the Epstein suicide, even about whether it was really suicide. And you know what? The Epstein case itself shows that we *are* kind of living in a paranoid fantasy universe.”
Attorney General William Barr: “I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered. In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death.”
President Trump also jumped into this debate when he retweeted something that a conservative comedian named Terrence K. Williams had posted.
Additionally, Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge added:
According to the New York Post, “Epstein had inexplicably been taken off suicide watch despite an incident three weeks ago when he was found sprawled on the floor of his cell, nearly unconscious, and with injuries to his neck,” adding “He was being housed in the jail’s high-security Special Housing Unit, in which high-profile or dangerous detainees are kept separate from the general population.”
At MCC, two jail guards are required to make separate checks on all prisoners every 30 minutes — but overnight, that procedure was not followed, a source told Reuters. Prisoners on suicide watch get checked every 15 minutes.
Former US Attorney Preet Bharara tweeted that he was “dumbfounded” by Epstein’s death.
“There should be — and almost certainly is — video of Epstein’s suicide at MCC,” he said. “One hopes it is complete, conclusive, and secured.” –New York Post

As we noted on Saturday, Attorney General William Barr is appalled by Epstein’s death – ordering the DOJ’s Inspector General to investigate.
Guiffre claims in the filing that she was forced to sleep with several high-profile individuals, including Britain’s Prince Andrew, former Sen. George Mitchell (D-ME), Democratic New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, longtime MIT professor Marvin Minsky, and investment banker Glenn Dubin. All have denied the accusations.
“Heads must roll,” said Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse (R), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee in a blistering Saturday letter to AG Barr. “Every single person in the Justice Department — from your Main Justice headquarters staff all the way to the night-shift jailer — knew that this man was a suicide risk, and that his dark secrets couldn’t be allowed to die with him,” Sasse added.
There’s no question Epstein should have been under continual watch, said Cameron Lindsay, a former warden who ran three federal jails and who called the death a “shocking failure.”
“Unequivocally, he should have been on active suicide watch and therefore under direct and constant supervision,” Lindsay said.
“It’s embarrassing,” one federal law-enforcement source told The Post of Epstein.
“This is the highest-profile inmate in that facility, and considering that he may have attempted suicide two weeks ago — how could they let this happen?”
Mayor de Blasio tweeted, “Some of wealthiest people in the world committed a horrible crime. If they think for a second that they got away with it because Jeffrey Epstein is dead, they’re dead WRONG.” –New York Post
And now we wait for the official story…
Update: The FBI is opening an investigation into Epstein’s death according to media reports.
Media reports say @FBI opening an investigation to determine whether proper procedures for the safety of prisoners were in place overnight at the jail.

Well, that makes you feel all warm and secure, doesn’t it? The FBI? The same FBI that was responsible for putting the country through 2 and a half years of Russian collusion nonsense and engaged in some of the most wicked corruption that we’ve seen in our history. Yeah, I’ll believe these criminals will get to the bottom of it.
In fact, more than likely, there are elements of the FBI that were involved in Epstein’s suicide.
After all, this is the same FBI that last week put forth the claim, without any evidence, that people who write what I just wrote are considered to be domestic terrorists.
Yeah, heads should roll, but the reality is that since this was a federal case, one person and one person only, according to our Constitution, is responsible for seeing through the execution of the laws: President Donald Trump.
I know the Clintons and tons of others had lots to lose from Epstein’s testimony, but Trump should have made sure this guy was in a maximum-security padded cell with nothing to hang himself with. That alone makes the Trump administration suspect, in my opinion, but don’t look to DC for answers, people.
If justice is going to come, at this point, it’s going to have to come from the hand of God Almighty because God knows the people simply are not demonstrating any ability to bring justice in this land anymore.
