This really is the bare minimum for any parent and that is to either teach your children yourself or get someone in the family or community or church to help you teach them (Deuteronomy 6:1-9).  It makes no sense to send your children to public indoctrination centers to learn from your enemies, does it?

Investigative journalist Alex Newman doesn’t think it wise nor does his guest Dr. Douglas Pietersma, a research associate at the National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI).

In this episode of Alex Newman’s The Sentinel Report, Newman begins by sharing breaking news from the Supreme Court that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) abused its authority when it interpreted a federal firearms statute to ban the use of bump stocks.

Additionally, Israel Wayne, an author, conference speaker, and director of Family Renewal, joins Newman to discuss homeschooling and common misconceptions, including parents who feel like they are unequipped to take on the responsibility of educating their children.

In the second guest segment, Rabbi Michoel Green steps into the program to share his perspective on the Israel-Gaza war and offer some reflections on Jewish history.

Finally, Dr. Douglas Pietersma, a research associate at the National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI), joins Alex to break down some data about the homeschooling movement.
