GOP Rep. Scott Taylor (R-VA) had some sage advice for CNN and the rest of the mainstream media – STOP OVERREACTING to every little thing President Trump says or does!
“I think you guys are getting played man. I think every time he does this you guys overreact, and by you guys I mean the media in general, and you play right into his hands.”

If I could give some objective advice to you. I think you guys are getting played, man.
Every time he does this, you guys over-react. When I say you guys, I mean you in the media. You over-react, you play right into his hands. Ironically, CNN reported on [President Trump] learning politics from the World Wrestling Federation in 2015.
And now you’re like, oh my God, he’s inciting violence. I just don’t think any American — most Americans, maybe some — believe he is inciting violence from a WWF clip…
There’s tons of news out there, let’s talk about real issues…
You guys are playing right into his hands, you over-react. And then he is able to use that politically. You gotta start reporting on news. This is not really news.
Rep. Taylor was commenting on in general about anything the President says or does, but more specifically he was speaking to the media furor over Trump’s Sunday tweet showing himself body-slamming WWE owner Vince McMahon. Only, the tweet had CNN’s logo superimposed over McMahon’s face, giving the impression that President Trump was body-slamming CNN.
While CNN may not have appreciated the tweet, many Twitterphiles believe it may be Trump’s best effort ever.
Here it is, for your enjoyment:

All of the controversy and the spin only serves to remind us that Trump is a master of manipulating the media to his own will.
Trump is playing mainstream media like a violin.
