Who’s Protecting Whom? (Video)
The Common Core Diva Lynne Taylor joins me in this episode to show how Congress is unlawfully pushing bills that claim to protect children, but actually are used to data mine them, track and surveil them.

Resources for the show:
1) Rep. Walberg (MI) introduced a ‘recycled’ bill from at least 3 Congressional sessions back (beginning in 2016 to present):
https://www.congress.gov/bill/
(*NOTE: 116’s bill number was HR 5573, 117’s bill was HR 1781, 118’s bill was HR 736. All were almost carbon copies of the 119’s current bill)
This link shows the current 4 co-sponsors of the bill:
https://www.congress.gov/bill/
1a) Walberg’s Congressional website:
https://walberg.house.gov/
(*NOTE: Don’t miss the workforce committee he chairs, we’ll be visiting this topic the next Tell It show)
1b) Rep. Walberg’s top campaign information (funding):
https://www.opensecrets.org/
(*NOTE: Don’t miss the Amway donations. Then consider that while Betsy DeVos was the US Dept of Ed’s Secretary, her shell company made millions of dollars off harvesting student data (on-line). So how objective is Walberg when it comes to protecting children on-line as his website reveals?
See my article: https://www.commoncorediva.
See his website search on ‘children’: https://walberg.house.gov/
Other Protection Acts in the 119th Congress:
1) https://www.congress.gov/bill/
(*NOTE: This has little to do with children’s protection and everything to do with AI generated porn)
2) https://www.congress.gov/bill/
(*NOTE: Again, not so much about protecting children, but about not harming our economy)
3) https://www.congress.gov/bill/
(*NOTE: While in the name of protecting children, look at the tracking that will need to be used over the telephones. More cybertracking of those suspected? Who or what group defines a suspect? See the supporting law this amends: https://uscode.house.gov/view.
Extra note: look at the dictionary for ‘suspect’: https://www.merriam-webster.
Then consider how more and more people, per the government are suspected of crimes against children who, in fact, are not guilty. Does this bill seek to throw the baby out with the bathwater?
4) HR 1274 and S 539 are the only ‘twins’ of the bunch. In the House, Rep. Wasserman-Schultz and Sen. Corryn. Each bill is tied to the 2008 PROTECT Our Children Act.
Both bills seek to reauthorize parts of the 2008 Act by establishing a ‘national strategy’ for child exploitation BUT plan to attach it to global networks using public private partnerships.

What’s ICAC? https://www.icactaskforce.org/
(*NOTE: a red flag for the ICAC is that not only does it receive federal funding, but it uses the gutted FERPA as a parameter of ‘safety’. See: https://www.icactaskforce.org/
