Another embarrassing moment for CNN as a microphone catches their broadcast crew joking about President-elect Donald Trump’s plane crashing.
As Susanne Malveaux and her CNN crew waited for Trump’s plane to arrive ahead of his speech at the Carrier plant in Indianapolis, Indiana, a producer can be heard off camera explaining how she’d signal the CNN correspondent when Trump’s plane lands.
“Sue, he’s landing any minute…if I do ‘this’ he’s landed,” the producer said, presumably giving Malveuax a hand signal.
“Good,” Malveaux respond.
“That means his plane’s crashed,” the producer then laughed. Malveaux went wide-eyed at the comment before flashing a toothy smile at the producer’s joke.
