The left’s justifications for their constant slew of hateful rhetoric usually begins with the word “Trump” or “snowflake.”
If it begins with “Trump,” they are usually blaming the President for their bad behavior. They say things like, “President Trump started the ugly discourse in America with his own crude conversation.”
If it begins with “snowflake,” they argue that conservatives calling them “snowflakes” makes them so angry that they are forced to resort to calling conservatives “Nazis.” This answer seems to prove that the conservatives were right about them being snowflakes, but it should also be apparent that “NAZI” is a far worse epithet than “Snowflake.”

Recently, the left gave us yet another example of just how hateful they’ve become, and just how ignorant of history they really are.
Interestingly, the obviously offensive (and wrong-headed) attack comes to us by way of a leftwing media elitist who has worked with Vox, Bloomberg, and the Verge.
From the Washington Free Beacon:
The Verge co-founder Joshua Topolsky called conservative writer Ben Shapiro the equivalent of a treacherous Jew collaborating with the Nazis in a tweet sent Saturday.
“Ben Shapiro is the Jew who helps other Jews onto the train,” Topolsky wrote in the now-deleted tweet.
After one user responded, “Yes, and Ben dreams of the handshake and shiny medal he’ll get for being such an obedient boy,” Topolsky wrote back, “Either way Ben ends up on his knees.” That tweet has also been deleted.
Topolsky co-founded the Vox Media tech news site The Verge in 2011, and he went on to join Bloomberg as its chief digital officer. He left Bloomberg in 2015 and started the digital media company The Outline.
And the media wonders why we don’t trust their coverage of the news?
Here’s the offending tweet:
And here’s one of the offensive follow-ups:
Topolsky has since deleted the tweet, but not because he was sorry about writing it. In another tweet, he says that he deleted the tweet because “I deleted it because a mob of right wing babies were flooding my mentions and it was frankly pretty annoying (as were the DM death threats).” And then in yet another tweet, “I didn’t apologize lol”.
Here’s the thing.
This is so obviously ugly and false that we shouldn’t even need to respond, but because of the way the media operates these days, it’s vital that we point out how biased and unbalanced the coverage is.
Imagine, if you will, that Tucker Carlson (the founder of the Daily Caller) or Ben Shapiro (the Editor in Chief at the Daily Wire), had said something similar about one of CNN’s leftwing hosts. How quickly would the media come crashing down on them for their ugly rhetoric? The backlash would be instantaneous.
Beyond that, Shapiro is an advocate for smaller government. He fights for free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, personal liberty, and a less powerful government…
Does any of that sound like something a Nazi puppet would advocate?
Of course not, it’s ridiculous.
Nazi epithets are simply the crutch of the weak-minded leftist trolls who now populate the mainstream media and Twitter.
Joshua Topolsky isn’t doing anything new, he’s not funny, he’s not adding to the national dialogue, he’s simply a boring, angry, and mean-spirited leftist.
