The Left insists that banning white privilege from being taught in schools is an assault on intellectual freedom. Some conservatives have joined this absurd campaign against bans on critical race theory in educational environments.

The Left doesn’t believe in intellectual freedom. Proponents of critical race theory who claim that white people are born evil, that debate and due process are eurocentric examples of whiteness certainly don’t.

These are the very same people who insist that speech is violence and that even citing the Bill of Rights is a hate crime.

They’ve erected safe spaces and segregated environments while closely policing student speech. Now, when it’s convenient, they suddenly care about intellectual freedom.

But only when it benefits them.

It’s doubtful that any of the defenders of critical race theory would defend indoctrinating students with the idea that black people are evil.

That’s exactly what critical race theory does with the races swapped.

Racist ideologies don’t belong in schools. Teaching about the existence of such ideas is very different than imposing them as the truth.

And that’s what the critical race theory curriculum is meant to accomplish.

The Left has spent generations battling to keep religion, at least the Christian and Jewish kind, out of public schools, only to force Islamic teachings into the school system. Now it’s pulling the same bait and switch with its own political cult of critical race theory.

Leftists had no problem spending a fortune and building an entire organizational infrastructure around fighting to keep religion out of schools.

They don’t have a single leg to stand on now.
