Airmen Charged With Buying 15-Year-Old Girl For $20
Two airmen have been charged with sex trafficking of a child and sexual abuse of a minor.
The Department of Justice announced that Airman 1st Class Dalian Washington and Airman 1st Class Akeem Beazer were arrested and charged based on alleged acts that took place on the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
Criminal complaints state that Washington picked up a 15-year-old girl at the Dover Division of Motor Vehicles in August 2016. He paid a man, who he believed was a pimp, $20 for her. Washington then brought the girl, who came from a troubled home and often ran away, back to his dorm on the Dover Air Force Base.

She remained in the dorm room for several months on and off, and during this time, Washington had unprotected sex with her. The complaint also notes that Washington recorded a video of the girl performing oral sex on him.
To help look after her, Washington brought Beazer on board, and he started having sex with the girl, as well.
“Beazer’s brother told him not to be a punk because there was a naked girl in his bed,” FBI Agent Christopher Lake wrote in an affidavit.
They occasionally provided her with food and money.
Investigators found out what was going on after the girl confessed the events to a social worker. Both men waived their Miranda rights immediately upon questioning by the Office of Special Investigations.
Investigators discovered 150 nude photos of the girl on Washington’s phone.
Both Washington, 25, and Beazer, 21, were arrested on March 31, 2017, and have been in custody since.
Washington will face a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years if convicted. Beazer could go to prison for up to 15 years.
