As The Devil Laughs: Mercy Offered To The Unrepentant Is An Insult To Innocence

“There would be no profitable games (Blood money) for the powers that are tolerated to play if the pawns refused to play.” -Psalm 94:16

This last week, while preaching in Nashville, I had the opportunity to go to a pro-life protest.

Upon arrival to the stairs of the Tennessee state capitol, I began to listen to some of the things that were being said verbally or by signs (1 John 3:18).

I noticed some of the signs that were held up by the profilers where the babies were literally dissected, and on the other side, I saw some of the signs that were held up by those who were illegally advocating the death of the innocent (Exodus 20:13), calling for more murder.

I would hear some pro-lifers praying for mercy when it came to those who were responsible for the deaths of the innocent (Proverbs 6:17). This is NOT scriptural.

Friends, you do not offer mercy to the unrepentant! Mercy is offered to the repentant, not the proud (James 4:6).

I recall a true story of a mass murderer in court laughing at the family of the murdered. This murderer declared he would do it all over again if he were free to do so. An extended family member of the murdered came in and offered forgiveness to him that was not repentant. Therefore, you have backwards judgment and why it is that you have repeat criminals (Isaiah 59).

“If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, `I repent,’ forgive him.” -Luke 17:4

Law to the proud, grace to the humble (James 4:6).

No, it is not judgmental to enforce the law.  How ridiculous to overlook judgment because of kindness because then love wounds itself by killing justice (Isaiah 26:1).

To offer mercy instead of showing them the law that condemns their sins (Romans 3:20) is to bring about an insult to innocence.

Biblical mercy, friends, is when the Judge brings down the law upon the transgressors unto judgement to establish righteousness and peace within the gates (Isaiah 51:4; Amos 5:15).  This is biblical mercy to a people.

In conclusion:

Oh, how the special interest groups and politicians are laughing at the ignorance of those who call themselves Christians (Hosea 4;6).

They illegally create the war with the use of the mainstream media and stand back and watch the people fight against each other (Mark 3:25); murder is against the law, period.

The government never had a legal right to advocate for murder by calling it a choice (Psalm 94:20).

The police stand by and play the mediators between the people rather than enforcing the law against the corrupt who contrived abortion all along.

Americans, there would be no division amongst the people if the laws were enforced (Deuteronomy 25:1).

There would be no profitable games (Blood money) for the powers that are tolerated to play if the pawns refused to play (Psalm 94:16).

“It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.” -Proverbs 21:15
