Biden’s DOJ to Stop Police From Fighting Crime in ‘Murderapolis’

Minneapolis murder rates already more than doubled from 2019 to 2021.

Somehow not satisfied with the lynching of police officers who restrained violent criminal George Floyd during his drug overdose, the resulting nationwide race riots, deaths, and doubling of the murder rate in Minneapolis.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, running Biden’s DOJ, has announced a crackdown on Minneapolis police officers that will prevent them from fighting crime.

While announcing the latest pro-crime attack on cops, Garland claimed, “As I told George Floyd’s family this morning, his death has had an irrevocable impact on the Minneapolis community, on our country and on the world. His loss is still felt deeply by those who loved and knew him and by many who did not.”

Did Garland check with the Latino woman he robbed?

The incoming consent decree will further cripple law enforcement in a city where murder rates already more than doubled from 2019 to 2021.

People are fleeing a city now known as Murderapolis. But that’s still not enough blood and misery for Biden and Garland who are obsessed with turning Minneapolis entirely over to violent criminals.

Once nicknamed ‘Murderapolis,’ the city that became the center of the ‘Defund the Police’ movement is grappling with heightened violent crime –  CNN

KG Wilson, a longtime resident of the Twin Cities, said police withdrew from violent neighborhoods in the aftermath of Floyd’s killing — a common sentiment among locals.

“The criminals were celebrating. They were getting rich,” he said. “They were selling drugs openly.”

Wilson told CNN the violence devastated his own family: His 6-year-old granddaughter was killed in May of 2021 after getting caught in the crossfire of a gunfight in north Minneapolis. The culprit remains at large.

And when people do get shot, the cops are no longer able to catch the shooter.

Homicide clearance rates in Minneapolis have taken a nose dive. The department sends data to the FBI annually. It records the number of homicides the department cleared that year. As the national average hovers at a historic low around 50%, Minneapolis plummeted below that in 2018, bottoming out at 38% in 2020.

Our analysis with CBS News also discovered a difference by race. The national homicide clearance rate for White victims keeps improving. While the rate of solving murders for Black and Hispanic victims is much lower.

If the police try to stop violence in the black community, they’re racist, if they don’t stop it, they’re also racist.

AG Merrick Garland took a look at that and asked himself, “how can we make it even worse?”
