China Continues To Buy US Farm Land & HR4356 Is A Feeble Attempt To Prohibit It

If people in the united States are not aware of the massive buying of American companies and American farmland by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), then it is time to wake up and pay attention. During the unlawful Bureau of Land Management siege against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his family, it was reported that then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was attempting to appropriate land (unconstitutionally), strategically located, for a solar panel farm to be owned by the CCP. Remember, any business in China is owned by the government, the CCP, because it is a communist state-controlled nation. In the united States, the CCP is continuing an agricultural land grab that has been taking place for quite some time.

Kay Smythe reported the story at The National Pulse.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is continuing its U.S. agricultural takeover, buying hundreds of thousands of arable acres across the nation. The purchase of U.S. land is part of the CCP’s food security initiative, posing a significant threat to food and national security for the American public. Republicans appear willing to confront the risk by introducing amendments to H.R. 4356 and 2022 Agricultural Appropriations bill to limit land ownership and tax incentives for foreign investors.

At the beginning of 2020, Chinese investors had purchased upwards of 192,000 acres of American agricultural land. The value of the land is roughly $1.9 billion, which is an exponential increase in ownership over the ten years prior. Exact numbers on the land owned by China and Chinese companies are almost impossible to track, as the USDA’s data on farmland ownership is two-years out of date.

So, China has been buying up American companies and land for who knows how long and some in Congress are just now willing to “limit” land ownership for foreign governments. In looking at HR 4356 at congress.gov, Section 777 addresses land ownership, in full or in part, and land purchases by China.

Sec. 777. The Secretary of Agriculture shall take such actions as may be necessary to prohibit the purchase of agricultural land located in the United States by companies owned, in full or in part, by the People’s Republic of China. Beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act, agricultural land owned by the People’s Republic of China or companies owned, in full or in part, by the People’s Republic of China shall not be eligible for participation in programs administered by the Secretary of Agriculture.

What about the land already owned? What about companies already owned? Why is China allowed to continue to own land or companies in the united States? And, what about China purchasing land and companies using “proxy” corporations? There’s a lot to be desired in this small section to stop China and/or other aggressive foreign powers from acquiring further land and company assets in the united States.

Smythe, writing for The National Pulse, relays disturbing information on China’s purchase of land in the US.

One large purchase that was tracked was made by a Chinese billionaire named Sun Guangxin and his company GH America Energy LLC, a subsidiary of China’s Guanghui Energy Company. Sun spent $110 million purchasing 140,000 acres in a Texas county near the Mexico border and Laughlin Air Force Base.

The land was set aside for the owner to build a wind-farm to feed into Texas’ electricity grid. Known as Blue Hills Wind development, local ranchers, politicians, and the US Military were quick to note the proximity of the development as a serious risk for multiple threats from hostile actors.

The wind-farm development was only 70 miles from Laughlin, raising concerns of potential efforts to spy or “otherwise interfere with US flight training.” Military outlets further noted that the power supply to the Air Force base could be vulnerable should the development go ahead.

Sun is not alone in the takeover of American land by Chinese individuals and businesses. In 2017, ChemChina, a Chinese state-owned enterprise, acquired Syngenta for $43 billion. While mainstream news media argue that the takeover was a bad deal for China, it offers significant long-term leverage over global and domestic food production.

Syngenta is the world’s largest crop protection maker and third-largest seed supplier. The now CCP-backed company operates in 16 different states, invests in agricultural research and development every year, and employs more than 4,000 Americans in 41 states, according to Newsweek.

Despite America suffering supply chain shortages, leaving shelves bare, the Biden’s Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack continues to build strong ties with the CCP. Vilsack’s efforts in support of China came after reports surfaced of China’s land purchases posing a significant threat to American national security.

The current trend in the U.S. is leading us toward the creation of a Chinese-owned agricultural land monopoly,” warned Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.) last July.

Section 777 of HR 4356 states the Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, “shall” take actions to prohibit the purchase of US land by China. Yet, Vilsack has made a bed with the CCP, as well has other members currently in the DC swamp – Swalwell and “Fang Fang”, Dianne Feinstein and her driver, Fauci with Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance (CCP ties), McConnell with his wife’s family’s shipping business (Ping Mei, anyone?), and last, but not least, Beijing Biden and his entire criminal family. Governors of States have also hitched their wagon to the CCP – Gavin Newsome is well known. Little did people realize the Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, stood at a podium with the Chinese flag in the background, signaling his capitulation to China. Does anyone really think Vilsack and Beijing Joe are going to follow this legislation, should it become passed and signed? More than likely, Creepy Beijing Joe will veto it, should it pass.

Don’t forget the global organizations who praised the tyrannical, despotic, totalitarian Chinese government for its atrocious response to the CONvid-1984. Even Fascist Fuhrer Fauci embraced China’s response.

And, the best we have is Rep. Dan Newhouse who is just now recognizing the problem. It’s been going on for decades. Our supposed public servants have turned a blind eye and still are, if truth is told. This small section in HR 4356 is only to appease the public and allow the unconstitutional Republican party to say, “Look, we see the problem and are taking action”. All the while, they are throwing the public a bone and calling it “meat”.

To really have an impact, foreign government owned “land” should be repossessed by the States in which the land is located. The acquisition of land in the US by a foreign government can be considered an act of aggression. The current Secretary of Agriculture should be impeached and prosecuted for treason. Any government office holder with ties to China and the CCP should suffer the same as Vilsack. Any resident of the several States selling land to a foreign government or foreign government using a proxy corporation, should also face justice.

This may sound harsh; but, remember when the egregious United Nations held some conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, and “declared” that land and building as being “immune” from provisions in the Constitution for the united States of America? What would prevent China from doing the same? If the CCP government owns the company that owns the land, it owns the land and by proxy, could declare it Chinese “soil” operating under the “laws” of the Chinese Communist Party.

Once the land is reacquired, the States should offer it for sale at fair market value to the previous owner. If the previous owner does not wish to purchase their land back, the State could then sell the land to an individual interested in purchase, provided that individual does not have ties with China, is not holding office at the federal or State level, has no ties to big corporations, and is not Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, etc. If there are no buyers for the entire tract, it could be sold in smaller tracts to individuals to farm to provide food for the people in the State. If there are no buyers, the land then reverts to the State, owned by the people of that State, as should be. The State would then be prohibited from selling it to any foreign company or investor.

Think the US government could buy land in China? Not hardly. So why has the Chinese government been allowed to buy land as well as companies in the united States? Someone, or many someones, got their palms greased to look the other way.

Remember, the Tenth Amendment provides States all authority that is not prohibited it, which would be the limited authority granted to the federal government by the Constitution. As we should all know, the Department of Agriculture, the Food and Drug Administration, and the programs under these agencies are all unconstitutional. And, any land in the US that the federal government claims to own outside that designated in the Constitution (Article I, Section 8, clause 17), is a usurpation and States should claim that land.

It wasn’t that long ago that Russia offered persecuted South African farmers tracts of land for “free” (nothing is ever free) if they would come to Russia and farm to provide food for the country. The incoming farmers would have to produce food stuffs on the land for five years. At the end of that five years, the farms would belong to the farmers. Who knows how that has worked out; but, one always has to be leery of the advertisement of “free”. But, I digress.

Time to wake up friends and realize we are being overtaken, a few acres at a time. And, it’s those who are meant to “serve” the people helping out our enemies. Moreover, these traitors are using the CONvid-1984 to advance our fall.
