CNN’s Don Lemon Completely Over the Edge: Trump “Trying to Ignite Civil War” & “May Have Dementia”

Pinterest WhatsApp

This is all getting so tiresome.

Last week President Trump denounced hatred, bigotry, racism, and violence on three separate occasions. Why 3? Because the media made the case that he didn’t do it properly on his first two attempts.

Finally, after the 3rd attempt when off the rails and the President moved from denouncing racism to denouncing the media’s attacks on him, the thin-skinned media collapsed into a quivering mass of faux-outrage.

Ever since that moment the media has been in full hyperventilation-mode about President Trump and the alt-right.

It doesn’t matter that Trump has denounced the alt-right and their white supremacist friends on several different occasions (dating as far back as the fall of 2016), the media seems content to bask in the false narrative that Trump is somehow an undercover racist.

Not because he says racist things but because he doesn’t denounce the racism of others in the “right” way.

It’s ridiculous.

On Tuesday evening, CNN “News” Anchor Don Lemon took the hyperbole, exaggeration, and fake news to a whole new level when he indignantly announced that President Trump was “clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country.”

“He has given oxygen to racists. He hasn’t really said anything [to] denounce the alt-right … He is clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country. He has not tamped down race.”

Except this is what Trump said just a few days ago:

First speech:

We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides. It has been going on for a long time in our country — not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. It has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America.

Second Speech:

We must love each other, show affection for each other and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.

Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs including the KKK, neo Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.

We are a nation founded on the truth, that all of us are created equal. We are equal in the eyes of our creator, we are equal under the law and we are equal under our Constitution.

Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America.

Q&A after Second Speech:

“As I said on — remember this — Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America. And when I went on from there. Now, here’s the thing. As to — excuse me — excuse me — take it nice and easy. Here’s the thing. When I make a statement, I like to be correct. I want the facts. This event just happened. In fact, a lot of the event didn’t even happen yet, as we were speaking. This event just happened. Before I make a statement, I need the facts. So I don’t want to rush into a statement…”

“Well, I think the driver of the car is a disgrace to himself, his family and his country. And that is — you can call it terrorism. You can call it murder. You can call it whatever you want. I would just call it as the fastest one to come up with a good verdict. That’s what I’d call it. Because there is a question. Is it murder? Is it terrorism? And then you get into legal semantics. The driver of the car is a murderer. And what he did was a horrible, horrible, inexcusable thing.”

“I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups…”

“I’m not putting anybody on a moral plane. What I’m saying is this. You had a group on one side and you had a group on the other, and they came at each other with clubs and it was vicious and it was horrible. And it was a horrible thing to watch. But there is another side. There was a group on this side, you can call them the left. You’ve just called them the left — that came violently attacking the other group. So you can say what you want, but that’s the way it is…”

“Well, I do think there’s blame — yes, I think there’s blame on both sides. You look at — you look at both sides. I think there’s blame on both sides. And I have no doubt about it, and you don’t have any doubt about it either.”

There you have it.

On multiple occasions, President Trump clearly denounced racism, bigotry, and violence.

He called out the KKK, the neo-Nazis, and other white supremacists by name.

However, because he argued that the Left played a part in the violence, he has in Don Lemon’s eyes, “given oxygen to racists.”

The truth is that the only people “giving oxygen to racists” are the media.

No one would care about what this tiny group of imbeciles had to say if the media wasn’t parading them on their networks day in and day out.

The alt-right would disappear overnight, the KKK and the neo-Nazis would return to the holes they crawled out of… if only the media would stop resuscitating them every time they wanted to attack a GOP politician.

It’s nonsense.

No national Republican politician supports any white nationalist or white supremacist group. No national Republican sides with the alt-right, yet because they prefer the GOP to the Democrats the media spends hours trying to tie the two groups together.

It’s funny, but they never do this with the Democrat Party and Islamist supporting groups like CAIR, or Hamas.

They never do this with the Democrat supporters at the Nation of Islam, or the New Black Panthers. They don’t do this with the radical eco-terrorists, or the socialist or communist parties of America.

No, only the GOP gets hung with the albatross of a fringe minority that supports some of their efforts…

It’s weird how that happens.
