Drudge: Republicans Should be Sued for Obamacare Repeal & Tax Cut Fraud

Well, like most of us, Matt Drudge is furious with the GOP establishment in that they are failing to deliver what they have promised and that is tax relief and the repeal of Obamacare.  Drudge had enough this week when he tweeted out that they should be sued for fraud over the issue.

Drudge sent out a barrage of Tweets on Wednesday as he said they should be “sued for fraud” for not putting the priority on the repeal of Obamacare and tax cuts.

The tweets have since been removed with no explanation.

“No Obamacare repeal, tax cuts! But Republicans vote to shut Warren? Only know how to be opposition not lead! DANGER,” Drudge said in another tweet.

Already we have seen RINO and House Speaker Paul Ryan say it might be March or April… or whenever before Obamcare is repealed… AND REPLACED.

House Speaker Paul Ryan told House and Senate Republicans that lawmakers likely won’t repeal and replace Obamacare until March or April. Speaking in the first major session of GOP lawmakers’ joint retreat in the City of Brotherly Love, Ryan said Wednesday that the health care law wouldn’t be repealed and subsequently replaced until spring.

What we heard today was Obamacare is front and center,” Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., told reporters, referring to the first session of the retreat, which outlined President Donald Trump’s first 200 days in office, or the “200 Day Plan.”  “Repeal and replace,” Collins added. “The word was by the springtime.”

Republicans just want their version of controlling healthcare.  They pushed the same nonsense in 2012 with the grandfather of Obamacare, Mitt Romney.  Romney forced people in his state to buy healthcare insurance as governor and received federal funds for it and that is exactly where Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah pointed to in order to justify the unconstitutional demands of the Affordable Care Act.

Ryan even claimed the would provide a replacement by cutting funds to Planned Parenthood.  While I’m grateful for that cut, will it be complete and total?  Second, the relatively small amount of money that is illegally given to Planned Parenthood by the central government, and has been with Rep. Ryan’s approval for many years now, is not a drop in the bucket to the costs of central government orchestrating healthcare for American citizens.  It simply is not their job to do so, nor is it in their authority to do so.  Just listen to him go on and on about the problems when he has been a part of the problem all along!  Exhibit A is his Omnibus bill and a variety of other unconstitutional legislation that Ryan has backed.

Sadly, even Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) warned of not having a replacement for Obamacare after repealing it. Why? According to Rand Paul, Obamacare has so many layers to it that the repeal trips certain things in the legislation that will cause insurance companies to go bankrupt and produce a massive insurance company bailout in the first six months.

Personally, I don’t worry about that. Many insurance companies went along and pushed this unconstitutional legislation in the first place. If they suffer because it’s repealed, then let them get a taste of the medicine they helped give the American people with tax penalties for not buying their product! New insurance companies will spring up in their place. Why must we make things so difficult?

Somehow, thousands of pages of legislation are at the ready, such as the PATRIOT Act after 9/11 or the massive legislation of the Affordable Care Act when a slick Marxist gets into power, but no one has a solution to stop a bailout and keep Obamacare from “unravelling,” as Senator Paul said, when the opportunity presents itself? I’m sorry, I’m just not buying it. Congress has all legislative authority per the Constitution. They should have never passed the legislation in the first place and thus, they should be able to repeal the entire thing, including any adverse effects with a bill that simply repeals Obamacare. It would provide a tremendous tax relief.

As a final question, I would like to ask Senator Paul, how does Obamacare keep unraveling if it is repealed in full? What is left to unravel? Anything established in it is undone, null and void. There is nothing to unravel.

As for the White House’s response to the Drudge tweets, Press Secretary Sean Spicer gave an answer:

QUESTION: Journalist Matt Drudge tweeted today that the Republican Party should be sued for fraud, basically upset about the lack of any legislation to repeal Obamacare or any tax cut legislation. So what’s your message to him and anyone else who’s worried about sort of the big push in the beginning — might be concerned that that momentum is stalling?

SPICER: I — I think it’s hardly stalling. I think it’s a mammoth thing to repeal and replace. I think the — that there’s no question the president’s commitment to doing this. You’ve heard Speaker Ryan talk about how we’re going to – we should be able to have this wrapped up by the end of the year. It’s a big bill. It got jammed through and it was very sweeping, we’re talking about 1/5 of our economy.

We can either do it quickly as the Democrats did and end up with a monstrosity where premiums go up, access is limited, or we can do it right. And I think the president, while he wants to get this done as soon as possible and understand what’s at stake, he wants to do it right. He understands how important healthcare is to American families and individuals.

And so, his goal is to get it done right and have an outcome that achieves the goals that it sets out to do. That’s it, plain and simple.
