Emails Show Clinton Team Rewarding Supporters with Pick of Jobs!
This is another example of the different world in which Hillary Clinton gets to live.
If any of us “lowly” “average” Americans were to participate in such behavior as this, which was recently uncovered by Judicial Watch, we would, at the very least, be facing termination for ethical problems and, more likely, we’d be facing criminal prosecution for bribery and corruption.
Imagine the headlines: Senior State Department Official Caught Giving Choice Positions to Supporters!
It’s unconscionable and it’s not new. Hillary Clinton has been caught doing this before – remember when she got a completely unqualified and unvetted donor onto a critically important nuclear board? When the media found out, the man quit the very next day… and of course, the media let Hillary off the hook.
Newly released State Department emails help reveal how a major Clinton Foundation donor was placed on a sensitive government intelligence advisory board even though he had no obvious experience in the field, a decision that appeared to baffle the department’s professional staff.
The man’s only qualification for service in such an important position? Fundraising for Clinton.
… [his] history of campaign giving dated back at least to 2003 and was prolific — and almost exclusively to Democrats. He was an early supporter of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 bid for president, giving maximum contributions to her campaign, and to HillPAC, in 2007 and 2008. He also served as a fundraising bundler for Clinton, gathering more than $100,000 from others for her White House bid.
When ABC News broke the story, it seemed like it could become a big deal, but fortunately for Clinton, as soon as the man quit the position, the story faded away.
Now, we have yet another example of something that should be a major problem for Hillary Clinton’s White House run, evidence of cronyism and bribery.
The Hill has uncovered yet another ugly email that shows the depth of immorality and corruption in the Clinton State Department.
Shortly after Hillary Clinton took the reins as U.S. secretary of State in 2009, a longtime confidante with deep ties to the Clinton Foundation pressed her senior aides to give a job to an unidentified male associate.
“Important to take care of” the person, Douglas Band told Clinton aides Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Nora Toiv in an April 22, 2009, email with the subject line “A favor…”. The name of the aide is redacted.
“We have all had him on our radar,” Abedin responded. “Personnel has been sending him options.”
What you’ve just read is proof positive that an unidentified male with close ties to the Clinton foundation was being offered his pick of jobs at the State Department, and that doing would be a “favor” to another unidentified party (perhaps the man getting the job). In most circles of the political world, we would call this a bribe or a payoff for previous services rendered. It’s highly unethical and possibly even criminal, as Judicial Watch points out, “No wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement, accusing the two of violating ethics rules.
“They show the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, and operatives worked with Hillary Clinton in potential violation of the law.”
At this point, there really doesn’t feel like much else we can say about Clinton’s corrupt dealings. Between the FBI investigation, the Benghazi committee’s findings, the eye witness testimony of the Benghazi heroes, the families of the Benghazi dead, the leaked emails released by WikiLeaks, and the uncovered emails from Judicial Watch… anyone who still believes that Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be in prison is simply lying to themselves.
If America elects Hillary Clinton as President, we are telling the world that the American people now wholly and heartily embrace corruption and criminality from our leaders. It’s not just that we expect it or that it doesn’t surprise… we will literally be rewarding her disgusting behavior. It is an appalling and heartbreaking thought.
