Evil Corporate Leaders Pen Letter To Senate – Demand Removing Citizens’ Constitutional Rights When It Comes To Guns

It’s not fiction.  It’s not speculation.  It’s a fact, as Democratic presidential nominee Beto O’Rourke said, “Hell yes, we are coming after your AR-15.”  Well, it isn’t just your AF-15.  It’s all guns.  Moreover, anti-constitutional politicians are being urged, lobbied, and “demanded” by over 100 American companies to infringe upon the God-given individual unalienable right of every citizen of this nation.

The Daily Wire reported:

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) responded on Thursday after the chief executives of more than 100 companies wrote a letter to the U.S. Senate urging Congress to pass various anti-gun measures.

“Now look, here’s my starting point: I want to see facts. I believe love is the answer, but I also own a handgun just in case, and that’s my right as an American citizen,” Kennedy told Fox Business host Stuart Varney. “The Bill of Rights is not an a la carte menu — the Second [Amendment] is just as important as the First or the Fourth.”

I believe love is the answer, but I also own a handgun just in case; that’s my right as an American citizen. I’m interested in having a discussion about gun legislation, but we shouldn’t make decisions to curtail Constitutional rights based on emotions. I want to see facts. pic.twitter.com/uF6BISsGa7

— John Kennedy (@SenJohnKennedy) September 12, 2019

“Some of my colleagues say ‘OK, we’re going to curtail the Second Amendment constitutional right in the interest of public safety and it will reduce mass shootings.’ My response is, ‘OK, prove it,'” he continued. “I’m interested in facts, I’m not interested in speculation. I don’t want to see people pulling stuff out of their orifices. Show me the causal scientific evidence because you’re dealing with a constitutional right.”

While Kennedy does actually ask for “facts” and not speculation, he refers to the right to keep and bear arms as a “constitutional right”.  The Constitution does not grant any right to anyone.  It secures, protects and guarantees the government will not infringe upon the rights God bestows upon men – those natural rights that come before government and those rights government are instituted among men to protect.  But, seeing that the government, aided and abetted by various agencies and corporations, already infringe upon nearly all the rights it is authorized to protect, without producing one single “fact” or “causal scientific evidence” any of these infringements securing any “public safety”, every unconstitutional action has been based upon some type of emotion, a knee-jerk reaction, to some type of perceived threat or response to the aftermath of 9/11.

Kennedy stated, “I find it curious that when a radical jihadist blows up a school and kills kids, we’re told not to judge all Muslims by the act of one Muslim — and I agree with that, by the way. But I just don’t understand why the same rule does not apply to the 100 million law-abiding gun owners in this country.  And in terms of what these CEOs say, I respect their right to have an opinion, but I don’t pay any attention to them. A lot of these guys, they’re the ones that tanked the economy in [2008].”

Confirming that corporations have a “right” to be involved in political issues, Kennedy stated these entities have not made a “persuasive” argument to justify curtailing the rights of Americans to keep and bear arms.

“Most of these CEOs — not all of them, but most of them — they think they are the smartest guy in the room or gal in the room and they’ve got their eye on the bottom line and, you know, I treat it like any other letter,” Kennedy said. “And about that poll, first, I have got to see the poll that say what folks say they say. I know how to write a poll question. I can make a poll walk, talk, and whistle the Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

“Number two, let’s suppose that the polls are right — we have a Bill of Rights not to protect the majority, but to protect the minority,” he continued. “The Bill of Rights doesn’t protect the high school quarterback or the prom queen, it protects people who aren’t as popular.”

Now, let’s get into the meat of that letter.  Comments will appear in brackets.

Dear Members of the Senate:

Our hearts are with the victims, their families and loved ones and all those affected by the tragic shootings in El Paso and West Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. These families became members of a club that no one wants to join: the millions of Americans whose lives have been forever altered by gun violence.

Every day, 100 Americans are shot and killed and hundreds more are wounded. These are more than mass shootings; in recent weeks, gun violence has devastated Chicago, Canoga Park, Newport News, Gilroy and Brooklyn, among others. This is a public health crisis that demands urgent action.

As leaders of some of America’s most respected companies and those with significant business interests in the United States, we are writing to you because we have a responsibility and obligation to stand up for the safety of our employees, customers and all Americans in the communities we serve across the country. Doing nothing America ‘s gun violence crisis is simply unacceptable and it is time to stand with the American public on gun safety.

[First of all, every citizen can empathize with an individual who has lost a loved one through tragic circumstance.  However, there is no such thing as “gun violence”.  It is an invented term to instill fear into the public over the average citizen owning firearms.  Inanimate objects do not have feelings, do not possess intellect, nor can these items move in any way independently.  The violence comes from the person using an inanimate object as a tool for their chosen path of violence.  Even an ink pen can become a tool for violence as well as self-defense.

The city of Chicago already has some of the most draconian, tyrannical and despotic gun control laws on the books, as well as Brooklyn.  Yet, these cities see more crimes involving firearms than elsewhere because only the criminals have firearms.

These company leaders claim they have a “responsibility and obligation to stand up for the safety” of employees, customers and citizens in the communities they serve.  Does anyone actually expect companies and corporations to engage in securing their own personal safety?  Personal safety is exactly what it means – it’s personal.  These companies do have an obligation to protect their employees and customers from safety hazards in the workplace.  But, that is as far as it goes.  It is up to each individual to secure his/her own personal safety and those of their loved ones.  As far as standing with the American public on gun safety, one has to wonder what these individuals mean by “gun safety”.  After all, law-abiding citizen who own firearms already practice safety when it comes to their firearms.  By the same reasoning, the American public is split on firearms – anti-constitutionalists want only government to have guns while using guns to disarm the population;  constitutionalists want to uphold God-given individual unalienable rights of every individual to keep and bear arms.  But, as Sen. Kennedy pointed out, the Constitution is there to protect the minority.]

Gun violence in America is not inevitable; it’s preventable. There are steps Congress can, and must, take to prevent and reduce gun violence. We need our lawmakers to support common sense gun laws that could prevent tragedies like these.

That’s why we urge the Senate to stand with the American public and take action on gun safety by passing a bill to require background checks on all gun sales and a strong Red Flag law that would allow courts to issue life-saving extreme risk protection orders.

Background checks and Extreme Risk laws (also referred to as “Red Flag laws“) are proven to save lives. Since Congress established the background check system 25 years ago, background checks have blocked more than 3.5 million gun sales to prohibited purchasers, including to convicted felons, domestic abusers, and people who have been involuntarily committed.

[Again, this use of the term “gun violence” is effective in instilling fear.  However, despite all their pontification, there is no way to prevent any type of violence because the nature of man to be seduced by evil has thousands of years of history as proof that with or without firearms, man can have a violent nature.  As a reminder, more violence against people has been committed by governments and men in government throughout history than law-abiding citizen who own firearms and criminals.  First, those governments and men in government disarmed the citizenry.  It would be safe to say that violence against citizens would not be “preventable” should further infringements on the people to keep and bear arms be implemented;  it would only shift to be perpetrated by those who retained firearms – government law enforcement agencies, the military, and local law enforcement agencies.

While claiming background checks and “Red Flag laws” are “proven to save lives”, there is not one study or shred of evidence provided to substantiate the claim.  Moreover, criminals do not walk into a store and buy firearms;  they obtain them through criminal means.  Where is the information from the background check system proving that 3.5 million gun sales were blocked to prohibited purchasers?  The background check system is unconstitutional as an infringement upon the right of the people to keep and bear arms.  It has been a back-door method to identifying who has firearms in this nation.  Moreover, it is the responsibility of the family unit to keep dangerous objects out of the hands of their members who should not possess such objects.  So far, in States that have enacted “Red Flag laws”, citizens have been targeted unjustly by irrational relatives to the point that one man was killed by police when acting upon those immoral, unconstitutional, illegal, and unjust laws.

How many of these corporations/companies have posted their facilities as “gun free zones”?  If they claim to have a responsibility to safeguard their employees and citizens in their communities, these entities have opened those they claim to want to protect to violent individuals by trying to deny their employees and fellow citizens their right to self-defense.  Criminals don’t follow the law much less posted “policies”.  And, should an incident happen, God forbid, at their facility, does anyone think these corporations/companies have provided any type of safeguard for those they feign concern?]

However, in the decades since, the law requiring background checks on gun sales has not been updated to reflect how people buy guns today. The Senate must follow the House’s lead by passing bipartisan legislation that would update the background checks law, helping to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them, in an effort to save lives. Background checks on all gun sales are a common-sense solution with overwhelming public support and are a critical step toward stemming the gun violence epidemic in this country.

Perpetrators of mass shootings, school shootings, and hate crimes often display warning signs before committing violent acts. Additionally, people who end their life with a gun also often show signs that they are in crisis before they act. Interventions in states with Extreme Risk laws have already prevented potential tragedies. Expanding Extreme Risk laws to enable families and law enforcement nationwide to intervene when someone is at serious risk of hurting themselves or others is critical to preventing future tragedies.

These proposals are common-sense, bipartisan and widely supported by the American public. It is time for the Senate to take action.

[The list of leaders and their corresponding corporations denoted by number of employees follows the “demand” for the removal of Americans’ rights.  These people are totally out of touch with any type of firearm sales through various venues.  Background checks have done nothing to stem violence in this republic since only law-abiding citizens purchase their guns through legal means.  Expanding those checks will do nothing to stop violent individuals.  And, even if there was overwhelming public support for draconian firearms laws, the Constitution protects the minority from being railroaded by the majority.

Perpetrators of any type of violence display “warning signs” before the acts are committed.  However, even the best observers and family members miss those signs.  Why?  People are unpredictable.  Again, these corporate leaders provide no evidence that States where “Red Flag laws” are enacted have prevented any “potential tragedy”.  In fact, evidence exists to show otherwise.  “Red Flag laws” have resulted in tragedy – innocent individuals being killed by police in a “Minority Report” type of engagement.]

Now, consider this.  These corporations/companies are out to make a profit by any means necessary.  Supporting these types of laws and measures, lobbying Congress to legislate away due process and other God-given individual unalienable rights, and leaving Americans without a way to properly defend against government tyranny leaves Americans vulnerable to corporate tyranny.  If these corporations wanted your property, they would have the government take it from you, without compensation, and without you having the ability to defend your property and yourself.  Think about the Bundy Ranch incident.

These are not altruistic individuals.  Corporations are not altruistic in nature.  These are profit-driven entities and people.  If the truth be known, these corporate “leaders” would probably sell their own mothers to make a dime.  The same can be said of members of Congress.  But, I digress.

Any individual supporting the removal of due process for any reason is an idiot.  It means an accusation would be enough to exact punishment – being determined guilty, sentenced and punished without a presumption of innocence until otherwise proven by those leveling the accusations.  So, when it comes to owning firearms, an accusation of being a “potential threat to oneself or others” would be enough to have the police storm your home to exact punishment – take your property or life without due process;  but, accusing an individual of murder, rape, burglary, theft, assault, etc. does not inflict the same response.

This is the epitome of injustice.  When due process can be removed for one demographic of people, it stands to reason the removal of due process for all demographics of people will follow.  History has proven it time and again.  Hitler’s Germany.  Stalin’s Russia.  Mao’s China.  Pol Pot’s Cambodia.  And, the list goes on.  Moreover, these are probably the same individuals and corporations who support unfettered illegal alien invasion, unfettered immigration, sanctuary cities, and the welfare/warfare state.

There is not a “gun violence” epidemic;  there is no public health crisis involving firearms.  What we do have in America is a degenerate, immoral, unethical, evil people problem caused by the destruction of the family unit through atrocious Democratic policies supported by Republicans. There are no laws that any government can pass that can fix degenerate, immoral, unethical, evil people.  These people will exist and have existed throughout history.  Despite laws against murder, rape, burglary, etc., people still commit those crimes.  But, infringing upon the God-given individual unalienable rights of self-defense using a firearm opens the door for government/corporate tyranny using the very criminal element neither can eliminate.  The solution is to deal with these types of people biblically and lawfully, consistently, regardless of socio-economic, political or demographic status.  Any other means is unacceptable.  And, ceasing infringement upon the rights of the people – rights government did not bestow nor can legislate away, and implementing the law equally is the best remedy against evil doers.

As one can guess, these corporate leaders are evil doers themselves.  It only makes sense they would want to eliminate any opposition to their influence by any means necessary.  Without an armed populace, government and corporate tyranny reign supreme.  Who is to say they wouldn’t activate “Red Flag laws” against their own employees and those in the communities they supposedly voice concern?  Think about it.
