Craig Deleeuw Robertson, a Utah senior citizen who had recently posted that it was time to start “cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle” for the “buffoon-in-chief,”was shot and killed by the FBI on Wednesday morning. Robertson’s posts were highly charged and wrong but perhaps he was speaking “metaphorically” like Madonna when she said she thought a lot about bombing the Trump White House. We will never know. He was shot dead in a massive 6 am FBI raid on his home.

He could have easily been arrested without violence. Instead he was executed in cold blood like Ashli Babbit and the Democrat media axis cheered. Inside of a couple of hours they dug up every controversial post Robertson shared, liked etc. On the flip side, every BLM, Antifa, jihadi act of violence and murder is met with intense scrubbing, washing and censorship.

“The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence. The subject is deceased,” the FBI said late Wednesday. But neighbors expressed disbelief, describing Robertson as a “frail, elderly man… who walked with the aid of a hand-carved stick” and “didn’t seem a threat” despite often carrying a firearm. Neighbors described the man shot in an FBI raid on his home in Utah after he made threats to assassinate the president as a “decent guy” who cared for his blind son.

Craig Deleeuw Robertson of Provo, Utah, posted some heated, but also some clearly jocular Facebook posts, pertaining to his dislike of Democrats, with one suggesting Attorney Merrick Garland is a “demented weasel” in need of a “12 gauge ennema [sic]”. Indeed when he was stopped by the FBI after visiting a church back in March, he told them his post contained the words, “It was a dream! We’re done here! Don’t return without a warrant!”

Kathy Griffin promoted beheading President Trump, Madonna that wanted to bomb the Trump White House. There were thousands of tweets calling for the assassination of President Trump. The FBI didn’t raid one of them. Two standards of “justice” isn’t any justice at all.

CNBC reported:

The social media company owned by former President Donald Trump in March tipped off the FBI about threats made by a Utah man who was fatally shot Wednesday by FBI agents as they attempted to arrest him for threatening to kill President Joe Biden, NBC News reported.

Truth Social notified the FBI after Craig Deleeuw Robertson made threats to kill Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr., according to a senior law enforcement official who spoke to NBC.

Bragg is prosecuting Trump for allegedly falsifying business records related to a 2016 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Robertson was armed when FBI agents confronted him at his home in Provo on Wednesday morning, and had pointed his weapon at agents and did not respond to their commands before agents fatally shot him, a senior official told NBC.

Craig Robertson’s family statement in full

‘We, the family of Craig Deeluew Robertson, are shocked and devastated by the senseless and tragic killing of our beloved father and brother, and we fervently mourn the loss of a good and decent man.

The Craig Robertson we knew was a kind and generous person who was always willing to assist another in need, even when advanced age, limited mobility, and other physical challenges made it more difficult and painful for him to do so.

He often used his expert woodworking skills to craft beautiful and creative items for others, including toys such as sleighs, rocking horses, and bubble gum dispensers for the children of friends and neighbors at Christmas time. He was active in his local church congregation and loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart.

He was a devoted dog lover all his life, and he lavished his animals with love and affection. He was a lover of history and an avid reader of every kind of book. In his younger years, he was a sportsman and hunter.

He was a firearm enthusiast, collector and gunsmith, who staunchly supported the constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms for the purposes of providing food and protection for his family and home.

As a safety inspector in the steel industry, he worked diligently and conscientiously to safeguard the lives and well-being of untold thousands who would use, and benefit from, the numerous industrial and public works projects he was responsible for during the course of a decades-long career.

Craig loved this country with all his heart. He saw it as a God-inspired and God-blessed land of liberty. He was understandably frustrated and distraught by the present and on-going erosions to our constitutionally protected freedoms and the rights of free citizens wrought by what he, and many others in this nation, observed to be a corrupt and overreaching government.

As an elderly–and largely homebound–man, there was very little he could do but exercise his First Amendment right to free speech and voice his protest in what has become the public square of our age–the internet and social media. Though his statements were intemperate at times, he has never, and would never, commit any act of violence against another human being over a political or philosophical disagreement.

As our family processes the grief and pain of our loss, we would have it be known that we hold no personal animosity towards those individuals who took part in the ill-fated events of the morning of August 9, 2023, which resulted in Craig’s death.

We ask that the media and public respect our family members’ privacy and give us the time and space needed to come to terms with the sad tragedy of these events.’

Who was Craig Robertson? What we know about the armed Trump supporter shot dead in Utah FBI raid

By: The New York Post, August 11, 2023:

The Utah man shot dead by FBI agents Wednesday morning after making online assassination threats to President Biden and other top Democrats was a staunch Donald Trump supporter, Air Force veteran, Second Amendment advocate and twice-widowed father of three adult children.

Craig Deleeuw Robertson, 75, was reportedly armed when federal agents arrived at his doorstep around 6:15 a.m. to serve both an arrest and search warrant of his home in Provo, south of Salt Lake City, just hours before Biden was to arrive in the state.

Robertson was facing counts of interstate threats, a threat against the president and influencing, impeding and retaliating against federal law enforcement officers by threat before he was killed.

The registered Republican and self-proclaimed “MAGA Trumper” wrote online Sunday that he heard Biden was coming to Utah so he was digging out his camouflage hunting suit and “cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle.”

Robertson had a collection of firearms that he frequently showed off in photos posted to his social media profiles, where he described himself as an “Air Force Vietnam Era vet, retired welding inspector, gunsmith and woodworker. NRA Life Member, 2A advocate and owner of many AR rifles + many other rifles, shotguns, and handguns.”

The National Pulse:

FBI Murders ‘Frail, Elderly’ ‘MAGA Trumper’ Veteran Who Facebooked About Shooting Biden.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents have shot dead a “frail”, 75-year-old man who identified as a “MAGA Trumper” and who couldn’t walk without “the aid of a hand-carved stick.” The incident occurred while the highly politicized agency executed a warrant related to Facebook posts about shooting Joe Biden and other Democrats. Robertson, a Vietnam veteran, had even used his Facebook posts to heckle the FBI itself.

The FBI, which Robertson referred to as the “Federal Bureau of Idiots,” did indeed return with a warrant, showing up at his house hours before Biden was due to visit Utah on Wednesday. The senior citizen had recently posted that it was time to start “cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle” for the “buffoon-in-chief”.

“There’s no way that he was driving from here to Salt Lake City, setting up a rifle and taking a shot at the President – 100 percent no way,” said one local.

The FBI has been vague in their description of the shooting, which took place at 6:15am. They have anonymously briefed the press that Robertson was armed at the time of the shooting, but whether than means he had a gun in his hands or was just carrying one in a holster was not explained.
