Enough is enough! I’ve just about had it up to my eyeballs with the “green movement”. They want to remove essential gas from the air that is needed for plant growth, claiming it is a pollutant. These “greeniots” want to eliminate fossil fuels altogether, including burning wood. “Pollutants” they yell as they run around plugging in all their EVs, smartphones, laptops, iPads, iPods, to the current electrical grid powered by fossil fuels. Those devices run on lithium batteries which require and exorbitant amounts of electricity to produce. But, it’s a “green thing” you know. And, how do you dispose of all those lithium batteries, which will eventually break down and contaminate their goddess, “Mother Earth”?

At one point, these “greeniots” determined that natural gas was cleaner, more efficient, and an acceptable replacement for gasoline and diesel fuel. Twenty years ago, when working in Atlanta, all the MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) busses touted on their side “powered by clean natural gas”. Everyone was encouraged to use the limited electric rail MARTA train system, which was powered by fossil fuel electricity. Granted, it was a bit better than dealing with the crazy traffic; but, you still had to access some type of fossil fuel vehicle to get to the majority of places or walk dozens of blocks to your destination, in some cases.

Now, however, natural gas is on the chopping block by the “greeniots” and the “demand” is to have it removed from every home in America. It’s all because of climate change – you know, the “man-made” kind.

By far the cheapest and most optimal type of energy for stovetop cooking, natural gas is the latest target of the global warming cult, which wants it banned from all homes nationwide.

The Sierra Club and numerous other “environmental” groups are pushing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to prohibit natural gas use at home, calling it “deadly pollution” that must be eradicated in order to save the planet from overheating.

Not only are gas stoves on the chopping block but so are gas furnaces and gas fireplaces, which the Sierra Club et al. want to force people to replace with expensive electric or solar alternatives. Homeowners could, if the effort is a success, be forced to replace all of their existing gas-powered appliances. At least one state lawmaker, Sen. Jerry Sonnenberg (R-Colo.), has called the proposition “out of control,” which it most certainly is.

“The petition, sponsored by the Sierra Club, claims fossil fuel-fired home furnaces, water heaters, clothes dryers and stoves emit enough nitrogen dioxide (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2) that they must be classified as ‘new stationary sources’ of air pollutants, placing them in the same regulatory regime as power plants and factories,” reported the Denver Gazette.

“Out of control” is an understatement for these demands by a private entity. Price out all electric appliances to replace any gas-powered appliance in your home and you will find the cost to homeowners could run about $10,000 depending on how many you have. Wonder what will happen to all the gas-powered appliances currently used in recreational vehicles? And, in case anyone is wondering, the latest CO₂ reading in our atmosphere is 416.03 parts per million (ppm) as of September 7, 2022. This is barely in the range for plant growth. Optimal CO₂ for plants occurs between 800 ppm and 1200 ppm of atmospheric CO₂ depending on the specific plant/tree, according to a review of literature. Search the term “optimal CO2 ppm in atmosphere for plant growth”. Not surprisingly, atmospheric CO₂ and atmospheric nitrogen work hand in hand for plant growth. Considering that nitrogen makes up the bulk of the air we breathe, it makes sense this gas is also needed for plant growth.

I guess the “greeniots” think they’ll just buy their food from the grocery store claiming “farmers aren’t needed”, as one stellarly intelligent politician claimed – sheesh! These are also some of the “brains” that believe nuclear energy is “clean”. Do these people have mental blocks when it comes to Three Mile Island, Hanover, Chernobyl, and Fukushima, which by the way is still producing toxic radiation everywhere? Do these people honestly think there is no radiation leaks at these places? And, please tell me where all that poisonous radioactive waste is to be disposed. If you want to talk about polluting the environment, nuclear meltdowns due to accidents and natural disasters coupled with leaking nuclear waste stored underground would be it.

While we’re at it, how many of the “greeniots” still travel using airplanes, are hooked into the current electrical grid, and buy products produced with fossil fuel energy? Hypocrites, I think. Let’s not forget those “greeniot” warriors like DeCaprio and Gore who fly around in private jets, use large gasoline powered SUVs for transportation, along with their “entourage” and tie up an entire airport in Switzerland just for a yearly meeting of “The Church of Gore”. All these people have to eat and one can bet chefs at these high end restaurants aren’t cooking totally on solar and wind. Needless to say, those high-end hotels ain’t heating the water and rooms with all the “hot air” these “greeniots” spew.

Whether they know it or not, all construction equipment is powered by diesel fuel or gasoline either directly through engines or generators. Why? Because you get more torque and power from those machines and tools than through a battery. And, the length of the power cord to plug them in to get the same amount of power and torque would be inconvenient to say the least.

Has any of these “greeniots” thought about where to ditch those solar panels when they fizzle out? Nope. Funny thing, those panels are not recyclable. And, where do we put all those giant wind turbine blades? Those things aren’t recyclable either and are way too large for the landfill. What about all the birds that are being killed by these solar panels and wind turbine blades? Aren’t these “greeniots” the same people who want all creatures protected from the evils of man? They do, until it comes to the use of fossil fuels and they’d sacrifice anything and everything, including their own mother, to stop that dangerous CO₂ generated by man from entering the atmosphere while wanting to charge people a “carbon tax” to “save the planet”. Oh, my word! How will they ever hug the trees if dead from lack of carbon dioxide needed for photosynthesis?

These are the same people who latch on to the idiotic United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that resulted in bike lanes in many cities and towns. Not to mention, the signs alongside the roads saying “Share the road” containing a picture of a human on a bicycle. In the town I live, bike lanes are everywhere. Guess what? Those lanes are rarely ever used. Once in a blue moon you will see a biker using the lane – but only for exercise purposes. I guess the “greeniots” don’t want to give up air conditioning on hot days, heat on cold days, get wet on rainy days, or break a good sweat in their suits, dresses, and heels to pedal four or five miles, at least, to work. Plus, it’s kind of hard to text steering a bike, putting on makeup without a mirror, and in general do everything they do in a car on a bicycle. FYI – there is no public transportation in the little town I reside.

But, every average Joe Blow should ditch their gas and charcoal barbeque grills, gas water heaters, gas logs in the fireplace, gas stovetops, gas dryers, and everything else powered by fossil fuels in the name of the high priest of “The Church of Gore”. Forget camping too. You can bet that wood burning is a no-no as well. We are all to plug into the matrix currently brought to you by fossil fuels. Do we even know if those products are produced by fossils? Maybe the “greeniots” should plug their pieholes and methane production tubes and save the planet! As if they would or could.

When are people going to get it through their heads that God is in control here, not man. While God commanded man to be good stewards over His creation, he certainly did not mean for us to go stupid. But, that is exactly what has happened because we have denied Him, turned from Him, and relegated Him to a corner. That is why we are being destroyed – lack of knowledge. It’s nothing more or less than what we deserve for our sin.
