Media Bashes Ex-Muslims as Islamophobic!
The mainstream media just can’t seem to help themselves. None of those media outlets has ever run a story discussing the bigotry of the Muslim fanatic who enslaves children, rapes women and tortures and beheads men for the crime of not being Muslim. However, these same outlets do incessantly run stories of rampant “Islamophobia” in the West (usually after a Muslim terrorist attack – when folks are especially worried).
Recently, former Muslims (now mostly atheists) have begun a campaign that they are calling#ExMuslimBecause, the movement is picking up steam and has become one of the hottest trends in social media in recent days. The media just can’t have that. Now, liberal media nannies have begun denouncing the movement (remember – it is driven by ex-Muslims) for being “Islamophobic”!
Ex-Muslims are using a hashtag, #ExMuslimBecause, to tell why they have left the faith.

The Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain started the tag, saying it wanted to defend people’s right to leave Islam and criticise it without fear or intimidation.
But many Muslims are taking issue, saying that the hashtag is “hateful,” and being used as an excuse for Muslim-bashing at a time of increasing fear of Islamophobia.
Fortunately, these “ex-Muslims” are not taking the abuse lying down and have begun to fight back against the liberal race-baiting crybabies.
The best response to the liberal media outrage may have come from former Muslim and current blogger “Atheist in a Headscarf” who wrote:
And so, the BBC should really be ashamed of for further silencing us by promoting the idea that somehow, SIMPLY STATING we are Ex Muslim and why is tantamount to Islamophobia, and for overwhelmingly interviewing Muslims on a show about Ex Muslims. Imagine the outrage if a show on Islam and the challenges Muslims face was dominated by Ex Muslims. Or Christians. Or Jews. Or non Muslims in general.
Has the media reached their “height of foolishness” with this latest attack on freedom lovers? Sadly, I doubt it. The media has proven it can get pretty stupid, really quickly.
