Now, here is a representative that puts his money where his mouth is! Oregon State Senator Dallas Heard took it to his colleagues in the Oregon Senate on Monday and thrashed the Democrat leadership for holding an “illegitimate” session and demanding illegal mask wearing.  When he finished chastising them, he took off his mask in protest waiting to see if they were nothing more than paper tigers… and paper tigers they are.

Here’s the video of Heard’s allotted time to speak.

“This is yet another illegitimate session where you the Democratic majority have declared the people unfit to participate in person in their own capitol building,” Heard declared.  “Let the record reflect that I am in fierce opposition to any legislation that this illegitimate assembly may pass today.”

“You will be held accountable for this in the coming years,” he continued.  “You have joined Kate Brown and her campaign against the people and the children of God.”

He then quoted 1 Samuel 2:20.

The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

He then declared, as our forefathers did, “The anointed King of kings is Jesus Christ, and this is His kingdom, not ours.”

Heard then declared, “The days of your unchecked assaults on our freedoms and His children are over.  You’ve oppressed the free peoples of Oregon.  You’ve said to me through my caucus leader that we are being forced to wear these masks today and that your false authority will be enforced against any of us who don’t submit to you.  If you had not done such great evil to my people, and had simply asked me to wear this mask I would have.  But you commanded it!  And, therefore, I declare my right to protest against your false authority and remove my mask.”

He then declared he would stand for the remainder of his time of 30 seconds to allow those he addressed to determine whether they are “fascists, willing to use the government to force and override my rights or to prove that you are nothing more than bullies and false authorities.”

With that, he was silent and after a few seconds, Senate President Peter Courtney banged his gavel and called on someone else.

However, Heard’s time was not up.

“Your time is up,” Courtney said seconds later as he banged the gavel.

“No it is not Mr. President,” Heard said raising his voice.

This continued until Heard’s microphone was silenced and then he stormed out of the chamber.

According to KMTR, “There were tense moments inside and outside the Capitol on Monday, as protesters tried to enter the building – breaking out a window and spraying state troopers with bear spray in the process.

Well done, Mr. Heard.  Now, see it through and start dealing with the removal of people like Mr. Courtney.  Don’t let a speech be all there is to this!  The people are behind you!
