In a shock story that has been unfolding over the last few months seems to be picking up steam in recent days, even as the media continues to focus on the possibility of Trump-Russia collusion. While the media and the Democrat Party have been worrying about the possibility that the Trump administration could abuse its powers, the fact is that the Obama administration was abusing those same powers for years.

In fact, the very intelligence leaders we’re supposed to be trusting in the Trump-Russia story are being exposed as liars and criminals. If we can’t trust these former intelligence leaders to tell us the truth, or to protect our constitutional rights, how can we trust them when they tell us that President Trump is a risk? Obviously, they and the Obama administration didn’t care about the risks to our rights or their duty to tell us the truth when they were in office.

James Rosen of Fox News blows the cover off of the real scandal:

[Nancy] Pelosi confessed ignorance of this week’s disclosure that the National Security Agency for at least five years under the Obama administration systematically violated Americans’ Fourth Amendment rights…

Civil liberties groups said the disclosures should factor into lawmakers’ decision at year’s end about whether to reauthorize the NSA collection program that witnessed the abuses…

The sheer scale of the 4th Amendment violations is staggering, as was the sternness of the rebuke of the Obama administration by the FISA court, which ordinarily approves 99.9% of the government’s request.

As of a few minutes ago, this story had not been covered by the Washington Post, the New York Times or any of the three broadcast networks.
